Act as a senior people leader and technical delivery authority.\nRole accountabilities:\nLead and develop software engineers across teams.\nSet clear direction, priorities, and delivery expectations at domain level.\nRole-model strong leadership, accountability, and engineering excellence.\nEnsure solutions follow agreed software architecture, DevOps, and security patterns.\nOversee complex technical decisions, cross-team dependencies, and trade-offs.\nPartner closely with Architecture, DevOps, AI, and Enablement leadership.\nAccountable for delivery outcomes across multiple teams or portfolios.\nProactively manage delivery, financial, and operational risks.\nEnsure consistent adoption of engineering standards and controls.\nShape the evolution of enterprise software engineering practices.\nMentor software engineers and build leadership capability.\nContribute to strategic planning and investment decisions.\nQualifications & Experience:\nStrong experience leading multi-team engineering delivery to achieve predictable outcomes, capability uplift and stakeholder confidence.\nStrong systems thinking and ability to manage complexity at scale.\nDemonstrated ability ensuring delivery is consistent, efficient and aligned to organisational priorities. \nStrong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships and align business leaders, product teams, and engineering teams around shared objectives and manage trade-offs effectively.\nLeadership style that empowers Arcadians, promotes accountability and continuous improvement, and supports a healthy, inclusive and high engagement culture aligned to the Arcadis Leadership profile of being curious, driving success and igniting passion.\n5+ years’ post-undergraduate experience in technology engineering leadership.
