The GEC model is well embedded in Arcadis, and the strong relationships that exist between our global offices are truly unique.\nRole accountabilities:\nCarry out a range of activities to support the development and implementation of engineering solutions.\nTypically assigned to provide a substantial technical role for a single discipline on smaller, less complex tasks or elements of more extensive, less complicated tasks within a project.\nStakeholder management and ensuring the design is based on project standards and code requirements.\nCoordinate with Client, Region and other GECs activities required to produce engineering deliverables.\nCan be assigned to a Task Management role.\nConduct training and guidance to junior team members.\nDevelop industry knowledge of international design standards through internal technical training, certifications and continuing education.\nLead a team on a project.\nAutomate design process and workflows.\nEnsure correctness and quality of project deliverables.\nKnowledge and Experience:\nExperienced in using management system requirements to support the delivery of design and engineering projects.\nAble to actively participate in safe design processes which consider safety during construction, operation and decommissioning through the use of hazard identification and risk assessment during design development.\nAble to input into discussions around identifying, reviewing and selecting techniques, procedures and methods to undertake engineering tasks.\nPossess excellent time management skills consistently demonstrated through performance on projects.\nExperience on large scale infrastructure metro projects (above and below ground station design) is an advantage.\nQualifications & Experience:\nPossess a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering degree.\nA Masters degree is an advantage.\nPossess a license in Civil Engineering preferred\nWorking towards Charterships with International Institutes in regions such as the UK, US, Canada or Australia is an advantage.\nHave a minimum of 4 to 6 years of professional experience in structural engineering.\nHave experience working in a design consultancy firm.\nProficient in using engineering software like: SAP2000, ETABS, SAFE, RISA, Robot, TEDDS, Tekla\nStructures, or SCIA.\nKnowledge in Revit and Navisworks is an advantage.\nProficient in the application of international design standards: US, Canada, UK&I, European and Australian experience is an advantage.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills in the English language.\nProgramming knowledge using C++, Python, Dynamo is an advantage.\nWhy Arcadis?\nWe can only achieve our goals when everyone is empowered to be their best.
