You will be involved in innovative projects supporting the Smart Sustainable Buildings division in managing projects, clients and initiatives. You will be also involved in sustainability management practices together with other professionals from all over the world, with the possibility of working alongside important international companies.\nDuring your internship you will be supported with the aim of gaining practical experience on the main technologies related to energy efficiency in the industrial and tertiary sectors.\nRole accountabilities:\nThe ideal candidate will support the Sustainability team in carrying out the following activities:\nCarry out field visits and surveys throughout the national territory.\nCarry out feasibility studies according to energy-environmental protocols;\nApplication of European protocols in the energy sector such as: CRREM and EU Taxonomy;\nImplementation of \"green assessment\" with particular focus on LEED / BREEAM protocols applied to real estate assets;\nWork on sustainability and circular economy services;\nCollaborate with your colleagues of inter-disciplinary teams for technical due diligence and design assessments\nQualifications & Experience:\nA degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering or Architecture.\nLEED/BREEAM certifications will be considered a plus;\nA previous experience in the field will be considered a plus;\n Excellent proficiency in English (C1) and Italian (B2)\nStrong understanding of the renewable energy landscape including sourcing, market-based instruments, pricing models and benefits of different energy generation methods.\nExcellent ability in analysis and synthesis.\nability to build calculation models and economic models;\nAbility in managing energy modelling with softwares such as IES, Termolog.\nUnderstanding of LCA methods according to energy-environmental protocols\nAcademical knowledge of:\nFluid dynamics;\nMechanical and electrical systems;\nAutomation and control;\nRegulations in force in terms of energy efficiency\nRefrigeration systems;\nWhy Arcadis?\nWe can only achieve our goals when everyone is empowered to be their best.
