This senior leadership role is critical to mobilizing project teams, training, mentoring and developing cost, schedule and program management professionals, and driving consistent high-quality outputs from delivery teams. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the data centre market, coupled with the ability to engage with client stakeholders to provide confidence in delivery outcomes and demonstrate effective leadership of our delivery teams.\nRole accountabilities:\nLead North American portfolio delivery and provide visible executive oversight.\nAssure delivery against client commitments, governance and Arcadis standards.\nSet regional priorities, accountabilities and consistent ways of working.\nCoach delivery leaders and build a high-performing, accountable culture.\nOwn senior delivery engagement with Client stakeholders.\nLead resolution of material client concerns and delivery escalations.\nDirect portfolio reviews, health checks and corrective actions.\nChampion quality, right-first-time delivery and continuous learning.\nSponsor portfolio improvement and the North American programmatic delivery model.\nMaintain executive oversight of risks, issues and dependencies.\nUse insight to anticipate risk, target intervention and lead recovery.\nEstablish clear reporting across delivery, quality, commercial and resource performance.\nDrive integrated resource, capacity and capability planning.\nConnect projects, locations and global expertise to improve consistency.\nAlign talent deployment, mobilisation and succession with portfolio priorities.\nQualifications & Experience:\nBachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).\nProven experience in Senior leadership of programmes, portfolios or multi-project delivery.\n5 years of Data centre, mission-critical or comparable capital-sector experience preferred.\nChartership or accreditation such as MRICS, MCIOB, PMP, PgMP or APM desirable.\nComplex capital portfolio experience across dispersed teams.\nCredible executive client and stakeholder leadership.\nProven governance, assurance and performance improvement.\nStrong project controls, risk, quality, commercial and resource expertise.\nMatrix leadership across multidisciplinary teams.\nEffective intervention in challenging delivery environments.\nAbility and willingness to travel across the United States to support delivery teams.\nProven commitment to health, safety, sustainability, and the efficient delivery of large-scale technology infrastructure projects.\nWhy Arcadis?\nWe can only achieve our goals when everyone is empowered to be their best.
