Senior Backend Engineer

We're looking for a Backend Engineer who thrives on solving complex, large-scale problems using Python, with a strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and system design.

Responsibilities:

• In this role, you'll architect and scale compute- and I/O-intensive systems, optimise performance, and handle high-concurrency workloads with cutting-edge technologies like Redis, PostgreSQL, and ClickHouse.
• You'll collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to build resilient, scalable systems that power next-gen financial solutions.
• You'd be working on core backend systems (not edge features).
• High ownership shaping architecture early.
• Real scale challenges (APIs, infra, reliability).
• Small, strong team, no layers.
