Contact us today to hear more about Arcarithm and all we offer!\nJob Title: Software Engineer\nLocation: Colorado Springs, CO\nLevel: E4\nRequired Clearance Level: Top Secret/ SCI\nPosition Responsibilities:\nAnalyze real world data pertaining to Missile Defense and Space Domain Awareness.\nAs part of an Agile Scrum team, develop and complete features and stories mapped to program objectives.\nDepending on the specific skills of the successful applicant, duties will include one or more of the following:Collect and interpret real world data.\nDevelop new algorithms to effectively utilize the data.\nActively update current algorithms based on new data.\n\nBasic Qualifications:\n3+ years of related experience, may have a post- secondary degree or certifications in related discipline.\nDoD Final Top Secret with SCI eligibility clearance at start.\nThe ideal candidate shall possess a strong analysis background, encompassing a broad range of disciplines that enable effective filtering of data to predict future states of ballistic missile threats. This background should include experience in performance analysis and characterization of large-scale complex system simulations, focusing on ballistic missile threats, weapon systems, and command and control architectures.\nA knowledge of system engineering principles and practices is also required, including system design, development, testing, and evaluation, as applied to ballistic missile systems and associated command and control systems.\nThe candidate should also possess a working or theoretical knowledge of ballistic or non-ballistic missile defense concepts, including Battle Management and Command and Control (BM/C2) systems, defense communication systems, and the Missile Defense System (MDS).\nA strong foundation in math and physics is required, as well as experience using tools such as MATLAB to support analysis of complex data.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nThe candidate should possess data analytics skills, with the ability to collect, analyze, and filter large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform predictions of future ballistic missile threat states.\nFurthermore, the candidate should have experience in analyzing and characterizing ballistic missile threats, including threat systems, tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), and the ability to predict future threat states based on trends and patterns.\nOverall, the candidate should demonstrate a deep understanding of the technical disciplines that underpin ballistic missile threat analysis and prediction, including the ability to integrate and analyze data from diverse sources to inform predictive models and simulations.\nSpecific knowledge of one or more MDS elements, such as C2BMC, AN/TPY-2, LRDR, BOA, SBIRS, GMB, Aegis BMD, and PATRIOT, is highly desirable.\nAdditionally, familiarity with operating systems like Unix/Linux, and experience with Agile Scrum and continuous integration methodologies, is desirable.\nExperience with scenario generation is also a plus, demonstrating the ability to create realistic and relevant scenarios to support analysis and testing of missile defense systems.\nArcarithm is an Equal Opportunity employer and all qualified candidates will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, genetic information, citizenship, ancestry, marital status, protected veteran status, disability status or any other status protected by federal, state, or local law.
