As a hardware company, we require in-person work at our factory in Torrance, CA. You’ll report to the Director of Software and work closely with a lean, high-trust team where everyone’s work matters.\nWhat You'll Do\nDesigning, building, testing, and deploying customer facing applications including the boat infotainment systems, mobile app, and website across frontend, backend, and infra\nWorking closely with our product team to develop boundary-pushing user experiences\nDeveloping internal tools to improve our manufacturing processes\nIdentifying opportunities to use software to accelerate the company’s trajectory\nMinimum Qualifications \n6+ years of industry experience that covers both frontend and backend\nStrong grasp of the fundamentals of software engineering and passion for developing high quality, maintainable software\nExcellent interpersonal skills in both written and verbal media\nBonus qualifications\nAppreciation for customer-driven products and beautiful design\nPrior experience with Typescript, Python, and/or Rust\nPrior experience with Amazon Web Services and/or Google Cloud Platform\nPrior experience with software in a hardware domain, such as embedded devices, mobile apps, IoT, and/or infotainment systems \nComfortable pushing an fast but sustainable pace\nEnthusiasm for boating and clean energy\nAt Arc, we encourage diversity and consider all qualified applicants equally for employment, regardless of background, identity, or status.
