# Lab Technician

The Laboratory Technician is responsible for performing chemical, physical, and environmental testing to support the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the ArcelorMittal Texas HBI facility. This role analyzes raw materials, process samples, finished products, byproducts, and environmental samples to provide accurate data used for process control, quality assurance, environmental compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives. The Laboratory Technician operates and maintains laboratory equipment, interprets test results, troubleshoots analytical issues, and collaborates with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Environmental, and Quality teams to support plant performance. Tasks & Responsibilities: Knows, understands, and complies with all Safety, Health, Environmental, and Quality policies, procedures, and requirements. Performs chemical, physical, and environmental analyses on incoming materials, process samples, finished products, and byproducts using established laboratory methods and procedures.
