Responsibilities:\nDemonstrates and promotes an uncompromising commitment to safety, environmental stewardship, and regulatory compliance.\nLeads, coaches, mentors, and develops a rotational shift maintenance team to achieve safety, reliability, productivity, and performance objectives.\nEstablishes clear performance expectations and provides ongoing coaching, feedback, and performance management to support employee growth and accountability.\nIdentifies workforce capability gaps and develops training, qualification, and development plans to enhance technician skills and readiness.\nSupports talent development, succession planning, and career progression initiatives within the maintenance organization.\nOversees workforce planning activities, including staffing, scheduling, recruitment, onboarding, employee development, and disciplinary actions.\nDrives a culture of ownership, teamwork, continuous learning, and operational excellence.\nPartners with Maintenance Planners, Reliability, Engineering, and Operations teams to prioritize, schedule, and execute maintenance activities.\nEnsures maintenance work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.\nReviews maintenance performance metrics, KPIs, and reliability data to identify improvement opportunities and drive sustainable results.\nParticipates in incident investigations, root cause analyses, layered safety audits, and corrective action implementation.\nSupports shutdown, turnaround, and capital project planning and execution activities.\nOversees maintenance-related budgets and controls costs while maintaining equipment reliability and operational effectiveness.\nEnsures the accuracy of SAP maintenance records, notifications, work orders, labor reporting, and material transactions.\nCollaborates with Engineering, Procurement, and Reliability teams to optimize spare parts strategies and inventory management.\nDevelops, reviews, and maintains maintenance procedures, standard operating procedures, work instructions, training materials, and management of change documentation.\nMonitors equipment performance, maintenance effectiveness, and emerging risks to proactively address reliability concerns.\nBuilds strong working relationships across departments to facilitate communication, problem solving, and alignment of maintenance priorities.\nPromotes and reinforces ArcelorMittal values, leadership expectations, and a positive team culture.\nPerforms other duties as assigned.\nQualifications:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required.\nAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Industrial Technology, Maintenance Management, or a related technical discipline preferred.\nMinimum 8 years of industrial maintenance experience in a heavy industrial, manufacturing, steel, mining, petrochemical, power generation, or similar production environment.\nMinimum 3 years of leadership experience overseeing maintenance personnel, contractors, or maintenance-related projects.\nStrong hands-on mechanical maintenance background with experience supporting rotating equipment, conveyors, material handling systems, pumps, compressors, gearboxes, hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, and power transmission equipment.\nDemonstrated experience troubleshooting complex mechanical equipment failures and leading root cause analysis efforts.\nStrong understanding of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance practices.\nExperience with maintenance planning, scheduling, backlog management, and shutdown/turnaround execution.\nExperience using SAP PM or a comparable computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).\nKnowledge of industrial safety requirements, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), confined space entry, hot work permitting, mobile equipment safety, and contractor management.\nProven ability to lead, coach, mentor, and develop maintenance personnel while driving accountability, safety, reliability, and performance expectations.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across operations, maintenance, engineering, and reliability functions.\nProficient in Microsoft Office applications.\nAbility to analyze maintenance metrics, equipment history, and reliability data to support continuous improvement
