The position supports plant reliability through preventive, predictive, corrective, and routine emergency maintenance activities while adhering to all safety, environmental, quality, energy isolation (LOTO), and permit-to-work requirements.\nTasks & Responsibilities\nPerform all work in accordance with company safety policies, environmental requirements, Life Saving Golden Rules, Energy Isolation (LOTO) procedures, and permit-to-work requirements.\nSafely inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, install, modify, and maintain plant equipment and systems.\nPerform mechanical maintenance on conveyors, bearings, pumps, gearboxes, shafts, couplings, motors, valves, piping systems, fans, blowers, rotary equipment, and material handling systems.\nRead and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, P&IDs, schematics, equipment manuals, and maintenance procedures.\nUse precision measuring tools, diagnostic equipment, and testing instruments to identify equipment issues and verify repairs.\nPerform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities to improve equipment reliability and minimize downtime.\nParticipate in outage planning, shutdown activities, startup activities, commissioning activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nComplete welding, fabrication, pipefitting, rigging, and mechanical repair activities consistent with qualifications and training.\nOperate forklifts, man lifts, and other mobile equipment as authorized and certified.\nVerify equipment is properly isolated, de-energized, locked, tagged, and tested before performing maintenance activities.\nParticipate in hazard assessments, job safety analyses, and pre-job planning activities.\nIdentify and communicate equipment defects, safety concerns, reliability risks, and environmental issues.\nSupport root cause investigations and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurring equipment failures.\nMaintain housekeeping standards in work areas and ensure tools, materials, and equipment are stored safely.\nSupport emergency response activities as required.\nPerform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.\nQualifications\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\nMinimum of 3 years of maintenance experience.\nKnowledge of manufacturing plant processes.\nGood knowledge of local codes and standards.\nMotors, PLC, Drives Experience.\nHydraulic and pneumatic maintenance knowledge.\nExperience in reading construction drawings. \nBasic Computer Skills.\nMust be able to walk long distances and stand and work for more than 2 hours in tough environmental conditions (high temperature, high humidity, noise, & dust), lift 50 Lbs. and withstand heights of up to 500 feet.
