Microsoft Entra ID.\nMicrosoft 365, Exchange Online, Intune, and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.\nHyper-V and VMware vSphere.\nPowerShell, Desired State Configuration (DSC), and infrastructure automation.\nBackup and disaster recovery solutions, including Veeam and Windows Server Backup.\nAzure IaaS, Azure Backup, and Azure Monitor.\nWSUS, SCCM/ConfigMgr, and endpoint management tools.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nDesign, deploy, and maintain Windows Server environments (2016, 2019, 2022, and 2025), including Domain Controllers, file/print, RDS, IIS, and application servers.\nAdminister Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, AD Certificate Services, and hybrid identity using Microsoft Entra ID.\nManage Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Intune, Defender for Endpoint, and related security and compliance controls.\nManage Hyper-V and/or VMware virtualization platforms, including capacity planning, patching, and high availability.\nOversee backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity for Windows workloads using Veeam, Windows Server Backup, or equivalent solutions.\nImplement security hardening, patch management, and vulnerability remediation aligned with CIS and Microsoft security baselines.\nAutomate system administration tasks using PowerShell, Desired State Configuration, and infrastructure-as-code practices where applicable.\nMonitor system health, performance, and security events; troubleshoot incidents and participate in on-call rotations.\nMaintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, operational runbooks, and change management procedures.\nMentor junior system administrators and collaborate with network, security, and application teams to improve infrastructure reliability.\n\nExperience & Qualifications\n\n7+ years of hands-on experience in Windows systems administration, including 3+ years in a senior or lead capacity.\nStrong expertise in Windows Server administration, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS/DHCP, and hybrid Microsoft Entra ID identity management.\nStrong PowerShell scripting and automation skills.\nProven experience with Hyper-V and/or VMware vSphere virtualization platforms.\nSolid understanding of Windows security, patch management, backup and disaster recovery, and infrastructure monitoring.\nExperience administering Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, Intune, and SharePoint/OneDrive, as applicable.\nStrong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage incidents and drive continuous improvement.\nExcellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical teams and business stakeholders.\nMicrosoft certifications such as AZ-800/AZ-801, MS-102, SC-300, or Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate.\nExperience with Azure IaaS, Azure VMs, Azure AD Connect/Cloud Sync, Azure Backup, and Azure Monitor.\nFamiliarity with configuration management tools such as Ansible, SCCM/ConfigMgr, or Intune, and ITIL practices.\nExposure to Linux interoperability, SQL Server administration basics, or large-scale PKI environments.\nExperience working in regulated or
