It's high-ownership, high-visibility work that directly enables our path to certification and commercial operations.\nWhat you'll do:\nDesign and build simulation environments for integrated labs, HILs and SW benches used in aircraft validation and verification\nOwn the tools and interfaces for the labs, optimizing workflows and ensuring configuration management and traceability that supports certification and regulatory requirements\nIntegrate third-party software and hardware systems into simulation architectures, collaborating closely with internal teams and suppliers\nDevelop and optimize simulation pipelines with CI/CD integration for automated deployment, execution, and monitoring\nContribute to technical standards, provide guidance to other engineers, and help drive resolution of complex issues across labs\nWhat you need:\n3+ years of experience in building and maintaining HW-in-the-loop test simulation environments and associated SW tools\nBachelor's degree or higher in Aerospace, Software, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field\nStrong C/C++ and Python skills\nExperience with MATLAB/Simulink in a real-time simulation environment\nStrong command of communication protocols: RS-422/485, CAN/CAN-FD, ARINC-429, Ethernet/TCP-IP\nHands-on experience with CI/CD tooling (GitHub Actions, Jenkins) and agile workflows\nStrong problem-solving, cross-functional collaboration, and trouble-shooting skills\nNice To Have:\nExperience in aerospace, spacecraft, or autonomous vehicles\nProficiency in the NI software suite (LabVIEW, VeriStand)\nExperience in real-time OS development\nFamiliarity with FAA frameworks and DO-178 standards\nStartup or fast-paced aerospace development experience\nAt Archer we aim to attract, retain, and motivate talent that possess the skills and leadership necessary to grow our business.
