The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in SQL Server, SSRS report development, troubleshooting, and performance optimization, along with excellent analytical and communication skills.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nProvide Level 2/Level 3 production support for SSRS reports and reporting applications.\n\nMonitor scheduled report execution and resolve report failures.\n\nAnalyze, troubleshoot, and resolve report-related issues within defined SLAs.\n\nDevelop, modify, and maintain SSRS reports based on business requirements.\n\nWrite, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions.\n\nPerform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring issues and implement preventive measures.\n\nCoordinate with business users, developers, and database administrators to resolve production incidents.\n\nSupport report deployments across Development, QA, UAT, and Production environments.\n\nOptimize report performance and SQL queries to improve execution time.\n\nMaintain documentation for reports, support procedures, and knowledge base articles.\n\nParticipate in release activities and production deployments.\n\nEnsure adherence to data security, governance, and organizational standards.\n\nRequired Skills\n\nStrong experience with Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).\n\nGood knowledge of SQL Server, T-SQL, Stored Procedures, Views, Functions, and Triggers.\n\nExperience in report creation using Tabular, Matrix, Charts, Drill-down, Drill-through, and Sub-reports.\n\nKnowledge of Report Manager, Report Server, Report Builder, and report deployment.\n\nExperience in troubleshooting report performance and execution issues.\n\nFamiliarity with SQL Server Agent Jobs and report scheduling.\n\nUnderstanding of database design concepts and performance tuning.\n\nExperience using ticketing tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, or similar.\n\nKnowledge of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, and Change Management).\n\nPreferred Skills\n\nExperience with Power BI is an added advantage.\n\nBasic knowledge of SSIS and ETL processes.\n\nExperience with Azure SQL or cloud reporting solutions is desirable.\n\nFamiliarity with source control tools such as Git or Azure DevOps.\n\nExposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.\n\nSoft Skills\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities.\n\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills.\n\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.\n\nStrong time management and prioritization skills.\n\nWillingness to provide production support, including on-call support if required.\n\nNice to Have\n\nMicrosoft SQL Server certification.\n\nExperience supporting enterprise reporting environments.\n\nKnowledge of PowerShell scripting for report automation.\n\n15 years full time education\n\nAbout Accenture\n\nAccenture is a leading global professional services company that helps the world's leading businesses, governments and other organizations build their digital core, optimize their operations, accelerate revenue growth and enhance citizen services—creating tangible value at speed and scale.
