This position requires strong leadership, technical skills, and a proactive approach to ensure daily tasks are executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.\nThe ideal candidate has a deep understanding of structured cabling, racking systems, and power connectivity, and is capable of bridging the gap between field technicians and site leadership.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDirect day-to-day tasks of a team of technicians performing rack installations, cable pulling, terminations, labeling, testing, and clean-up\nEnsure all work is performed according to site standards, project specifications, and safety guidelines\nPerform hands-on work while monitoring quality control across the team\nProvide technical guidance and mentorship to junior technicians\nAct as the liaison between crew members and the Foreman/Supervisor to communicate progress, issues, and material needs\nTrack daily work progress and provide status updates to site leadership\nSupport training efforts to elevate technician skills and promote best practices\nMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment\nAssist with conflict resolution and problem-solving in the field\nEnsure proper PPE usage and compliance with all safety protocols\n Qualifications:\n3-5 years of experience in structured cabling, electrical, or data center infrastructure roles\n1+ years of experience leading crews or serving in a team lead capacity\nBilingual (Spanish/English) preferred, but not required\nStrong working knowledge of structured cabling (copper and fiber), racking systems, and power delivery\nAbility to read and interpret construction drawings, cable maps, and labeling schedules\nClear communication skills - both verbal and written\nAbility to delegate, prioritize, and adapt to shifting project needs\nComfortable using basic reporting tools (digital or paper-based) to track tasks and time\nPhysical Requirements:\nAbility to stand, bend, and lift throughout the shift\nMust be able to lift 50 lbs and work on ladders or lifts as needed\nComfortable working in live data center environments and construction settings\nWillingness to work overtime, weekends, or night shifts if required by the project\nPreferred Certifications:\nOSHA 10 or 30\nBICSI Installer II or Technician\nManufacturer certifications (e.g., Corning, Panduit, Commscope)\nCPR/First Ai\nWe value reliability, accountability, and strong field leadership.
