to expect from a major EPC contractor.\nKey Responsibilities\nPlan, coordinate, and execute all Instrumentation pre-commissioning and commissioning activities in accordance with project specifications, ADNOC standards, and international codes (ISA, IEC).\nReview and verify loop drawings, P&IDs, control philosophies, and logic diagrams to ensure compliance with approved design.\nPerform loop-checking, functional testing, calibration, and configuration of smart transmitters, control valves, and final control elements.\nSupervise and lead subcontractor teams during instrument installation verification, signal testing, and system energization.\nInterface with DCS, ESD, F&G, SCADA, and PLC vendors to resolve technical issues and ensure seamless integration of instrumentation systems.\nEnsure accurate documentation and handover of commissioning dossiers, as-built markups, and punch list closure to the client.\nStrictly adhere to HSE and PTW procedures, ensuring safe commissioning practices in hazardous areas.\nCoordinate with Electrical and Mechanical commissioning teams for integrated testing (System and Sub-System level).\nProvide progress reporting on commissioning activities and highlight areas requiring immediate management attention.\nSupport training and knowledge transfer to client operation teams as part of final system handover.\nKnowledge & Skills:\nStrong knowledge of instrument calibration, control system architecture, DCS/PLC/ESD/F&G integration, and loop verification procedures.\nFamiliarity with ADNOC, Shell, or Aramco commissioning standards.\nProficient in interpreting P&IDs, I/O lists, and Logic Diagrams.\nNice-to-have: Exposure to digital instrumentation, asset management systems (AMS), and fieldbus (HART/FOUNDATION Fieldbus).\nUnderstanding of permit-to-work and field isolation procedures.\nWill use specialized tools such as calibrators, simulators, communicators, and loop-checking software.\nSoft Skills / Competencies:\nTeam-oriented professional with strong coordination and troubleshooting skills.\nCapable of handling multi-vendor interfaces and documentation-driven workflows.\nValues safety, precision, and clear communication under pressure.\nFits well in a structured, cross-discipline team environment with multicultural workforce integration.\nGood working knowledge of MS Office, Commissioning Management Systems software’s\nFamiliar with data handlers and vendor configuration tools for DCS and ESD systems.\n Qualifications & Work Experience:\nBachelor’s Degree in Instrumentation & Control / Electronics Engineering from a recognized university.\nADNOC-approved or equivalent vendor/systems training preferred (Emerson / Honeywell / Yokogawa / ABB / Siemens).\nEssential: Minimum 10-12 years of experience in pre-commissioning and commissioning of instrumentation systems for Oil & Gas / Petrochemical projects.\nPreferably with EPC/PMC contractors at ADNOC sites or
