The role involves assisting in the strategic and tactical planning, coordination, direction, supervision, and control of technical, financial, and administrative contractual activities across both home office and site operations.\nThe Deputy Project Manager will coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams, procurement, project controls, construction management, and subcontractors to support the delivery of the project throughout all phases, from front-end engineering and detailed design through procurement, construction, handover, and project close-out.\n Support the Project Manager in establishing project teams, coordinating multidisciplinary activities, and ensuring efficient project execution in line with contractual requirements and project objectives.\nAssist in developing and implementing project execution plans covering safety, staffing, budgeting, scheduling, and critical project milestones.\nCoordinate engineering deliverables, procurement of engineered equipment and bulk materials, construction subcontract administration, and project controls to ensure compliance with cost, schedule, quality, and safety requirements.\nMonitor project performance against approved budgets, schedules, and objectives, identifying deviations and supporting the implementation of corrective actions.\nContribute to the preparation and monitoring of Total Installed Cost (TIC) estimates, cost trends, forecasts, and project progress reports.\nPromote and coordinate effective workshare execution across engineering disciplines and project services teams.\nIdentify potential project risks, assess their impact, and support the development and implementation of appropriate mitigation measures.\nCoordinate with department managers to monitor team performance, address resource requirements, and ensure effective collaboration across project functions.\nSupport and mentor Project Engineers and Construction Managers, contributing to their professional development and effective performance.\nEnsure compliance with established project review processes, quality control guidelines, safety standards, and applicable project procedures.\nMaintain positive working relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders, supporting effective communication at all organizational levels.\nContribute to the continuous improvement of project management systems, execution processes, and procedures.\nSupport business development activities, including proposal preparation, presentations, opportunity assessments, and contract negotiations, as required.\nPerform other duties as assigned by the Project Manager.\n BSc or MSc in Engineering (All disciplines)\nMinimum of 15 years of professional experience in the Oil & Gas industry.\nMinimum of 5 years of experience in project management or project leadership roles, preferably within major EPC / Oil & Gas projects.\nPrevious experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams across engineering, procurement, project controls, and construction.\nDemonstrated leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.\nStrong analytical, planning, and organizational capabilities.\nAbility to perform effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities in a complex project environment.\nResults-oriented, decisive, and proactive approach to project execution.\nSubstantial understanding of commercial, legal, and contractual matters.\nKnowledge of project management tools, systems, and methodologies.\nFluency in English, both written and spoken.\n What's in it for you:\nExpat package is on the shelf, yet the real joy comes from being a member of smart and passionate teams, within an international leading EPC Group on a mission that matters.
