We’d like to meet you!\nReporting directly to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating all Project Controls activities either performed directly or through sub-contractors to ensure that the works are carried out in accordance with the construction schedule, within budget and project quality requirements.\n Sounds exciting? Read on.\nWhat you will need to do:\nAssign responsibilities within your team so as to ensure the best possible delivery.\nEnsure proper scope management of the project in cooperation with the Project Manager, Operations Controls Manager and Contract Manager.\nEstablish and maintain a valid, detailed and resource-loaded project schedule in cooperation with the other project department heads, the project manager, and the respective division team. Monitor the progress of the works (including the one of subcontractors) identifying and communicating areas of concern and proposing mitigation plans.\nEnsure the data collecting system for planning, invoicing, controlling and reporting; prepare the contractually foreseen reports as well as the Company’s internal project control reports as per Company’s procedures.\nEstablish the invoicing procedure and supervise its proper implementation.\nEstablish the cost control system in co-operation with the Commercial Manager as per Company’s procedures and supervise its proper application; ensure the smooth co-operation with all the sections of the Project.\nEnsure proper control over the Project performance compared to the tender and/or budget.\nEnsure proper control of subcontractors’ invoices.\nActively support building and maintaining positive customer relationships with Employer’s and Engineer’s representatives\nEnsure people are being trained and developed and prevent work related conflicts\nIdentify problem areas and promote corrective actions.\nContinuously improve the performance of company operations.\nAssess risks to maintain the risk profile within set limits.\nUniversity degree in Engineering\nAt least 15 years relevant experience including 5 years management experience in construction industry at similar level\nExperience in EPC Projects above US$ 100M with ADNOC (or equivalent) is essential with involvement in all project phases (Engineering, Procurement & Construction).\nPrevious employment with leading EPC contractors is highly preferable.\nCapability to perform under stressful situations.\nSubstantial cost estimation, cost control, planning, risk management and contractual knowledge.\nEngineering, procurement, construction, pre-commissioning and commissioning awareness.\nFluency in the English language.\nKnowledge of project management tools.\nKnowledge of basic financial concepts.\n You are someone who:\nHas a solid and preferably diverse technical background and enjoys engineering challenges\n Is reliable, committed, and able to work towards agreed goals and schedules\n Approaches problems practically and supports timely decision-making\n Communicates clearly and works well with others\n Has some exposure to Project Management, or an interest in developing in this area\n Is keen to learn, improve, and grow professionally\nWhat’s in it for you:\nExpat package is on the shelf, yet the real joy comes from being a member of smart and passionate teams, within an international leading EPC Group on a mission that matters.
