Originally developed within a major financial institution, the platform is transforming capital markets through innovative, secure, and compliant technology solutions.\nWe are looking for an experienced Senior QA Engineer to play a key role in ensuring the quality, stability, and reliability of a mission-critical financial platform. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in fast-paced delivery environments, has exceptional attention to detail, and enjoys working closely with Product, Operations, and Engineering teams.\nYou will take ownership of end-to-end testing activities across complex releases, validate business-critical workflows, identify defects early in the development lifecycle, and help drive continuous improvements to QA processes and release quality. In this model the QA Engineer is a peer of the Software Engineer and the Product Manager, not a downstream tester. They shape the specification so that it can be tested, set the test strategy, challenge whether the automated tests prove the requirements, and give the final testing sign-off before release.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead manual and automation testing activities across new feature development, enhancements, and platform releases.\nAnalyse business and functional requirements, user stories, and technical specifications to create comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.\nExecute functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing.\nValidate complex workflows, data processing, and business-critical financial transactions.\nIdentify, document, reproduce, and track defects using JIRA and other defect management tools.\nPerform detailed regression testing ahead of major deployments and releases.\nParticipate actively in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.\nProvide clear and consistent reporting on testing progress, risks, and release readiness.\nAssist with release documentation, user manuals, and client-facing release notes.\nSupport QA process improvements and contribute to establishing best practices across the team.\nMentor junior QA team members and promote high testing standards.\nRequirements\nStrong experience as a QA Engineer, Senior Test Analyst, or Test Lead, defining test approaches for complex projects.\nExcellent understanding of software testing methodologies, risk-based testing, and QA best practices.\nExperience creating test strategies, reviewing requirements for testability, and designing comprehensive test cases.\nExperience building and maintaining automated regression and API test suites using tools such as Postman, Selenium, Playwright, or Katalon.\nAbility to read and review automated test code and validate test coverage.\nExperience working with CI/CD pipelines, Agile delivery environments, and release readiness decisions.\nExperience using Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar test management and defect tracking tools.\nExperience documenting business processes or system functionality for both technical and non-technical audiences.\nExperience within regulated or enterprise-scale environments is a plus.\nISTQB Advanced certification, AI testing experience, or familiarity with AI-assisted development is an advantage.\nWhat you’ll get in return\nSalary: Starting from € 4.500 gross/month, depending on your experience (full-time only).\nCareer Growth: Accelerate your professional journey by working with cutting-edge technologies in a truly global environment.\nHolidays: Enjoy extra vacation days to recharge and unwind.\nFlexibility: Benefit from hybrid working options for a healthy work-life balance.\nWorkplace: A modern, pet-friendly office equipped with parking and plenty of snacks to keep you fueled and productive.\nHigh-Spec Hardware: Brand-new, high-performance equipment provided to support your work from day one.\nTeam Environment: A dynamic, collaborative, and friendly working atmosphere.\nPerks: Enjoy additional health insurance, plan for the future with 3rd-pillar pension benefits, and perform at your best with high-spec hardware.\nReady to Join Us?\nIf you’re enthusiastic about this opportunity and believe you’re the right fit, we’d love to hear from you!
