Works with operations and support groups to anticipate, manage, and provide field leadership for service issues and initiatives, including start-ups, installations, repair, maintenance, and unit returns.\n Essential Duties:\nDetermines schedules, sequences, and assignments for work activity, based on work priority, quantity of equipment, and skill of personnel.\nManages and coordinates the on-call schedule for I&E service technicians. \nMonitors, assesses, and anticipates human capital needs (i.e., adequate levels of staffing, engagement, and performance) to meet business needs. \nEvaluates, develops, and implements maintenance policies and procedures. \nProvide coaching and technical training to all employees under their supervision. \nInspects, tests, and measures completed work using devices such as hand tools or gauges to verify conformance to standards or repair requirements. \nPerforms skilled repair or maintenance operation, using equipment such as hand or power tools, hydraulic presses, or shears. \nConfers with management, sales team, various support groups and customers to identify resource needs and coordinates work activities accordingly. \nPartners with Fleet and Supply Chain departments to coordinate trucking for loading and unloading of equipment. \nManages and resolves field issues as they arise, including parts and logistics, repair and maintenance, and employee relations. \nTracks service records to identify trends with compressor rental packages. \nManages, monitors, and assists with random and quarterly unit inspections to ensure that all rental assets are inspected with supporting documentation. \nManages, coordinates, and assists with all start-ups, installation, and return of compressor packages. \nReports any potential problems on the units concerning engineering, assembly, and/or equipment failure to appropriate departments. \nEnsures timely completion, accuracy, and integrity of all field related paperwork (i.e., FSRs, daily work orders, expense reports, etc.). \nReview weekly time sheets for I&E Technicians in the area. \nPerform routine inspections of units and ensure they are clean of oil and debris. \nWhen a unit is set, inspect all fall off to ensure the unit is ready for startup procedures.\nNon-Essential Duties: Performs other duties as assigned.\nAll employees shall be in compliance with the Archrock Health Safety and Environmental Policy and local, statutory and/or regulatory requirements at all times.\nMinimum Education and Certification:\nBachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, instrumentation, or a related field.\nMinimum Experience:\nProven experience in managing I&E projects in an industrial setting. \nStrong leadership and team management skills. \nIn-depth knowledge of instrumentation and electrical systems. \nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills. \nAbility to analyze problems and strategize solutions. \nFamiliarity with industry standards and regulations.\nWorking Conditions: (Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions)\nMust be fit for duty for the job tasks being performed. \nMust meet the medical requirements necessary to wear PPE (includes respiratory protection medical requirements) as required by the role. \nFrequently required to display good manual dexterity and to reach with hands and arms. \nConstantly required to talk and hear. \nFrequently required to sit while driving or using a PC. \nFrequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, squat, and twist with good balance. \nOccasionally required to lift, move and carry up to 50 pounds and to push and pull up to 110 pounds. \nOccasionally required to carry at least 40 pounds with one hand for at least 10 feet. \nOccasionally required to crawl, climb in and around equipment, stairs and vertical ladders. \nVision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.\nThis job description is a summary of essential job functions.
