Responsible for using Workday to communicate with management about time off requests & working availability.\nGeneral Responsibilities \nAcknowledge members/guests and meet or exceed their expectations. Have an acute awareness of all table flow and timing throughout one's shift. Foresee and troubleshoot problems before they occur, report to management if you’re not able to solve the problem.\nSet up for events by putting out and arranging tables, place settings, setting up buffets, and other event equipment.\nTo efficiently serve food and drinks in a friendly and courteous manner. To follow the service sequence and standards of the club, according to the training manual.\nTo ensure all service stations and/or assigned areas are stocked and maintained with silverware, china, sugar, creamers, tea box, iced tea and coffee, etc. as described in the BEO.\nTo ensure that all silverware, glasses, base plates and china are polished and set according to club standards.\nPerform cleaning tasks and breakdown of service.\nMaintain high standards of safety and cleanliness.\nAttends pre-service training (line-up meeting).\nAdherence to Club’s uniform and grooming policy.\nKnowledge of, respect for and adherence to all staff privileges and responsibilities.\nPerforms other appropriate duties as assigned by manager on duty.\nJob Qualifications \nEducation:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred.\nExperience / License / Qualifications:\nPrevious server or banquet server experience preferred.\nExcellent oral communication and listening skills.\nAbility to follow directions and be coachable.\nExcellent customer service skills.\nMust speak, read, and write in English proficiently.\nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to speak and hear.\nClose and distance vision.\nIdentify and distinguish colors.\nFrequent walking with some standing at times.\nWill walk for long periods of time, possibly extended distances.\nOccasionally lifts/carries up to 50 lbs.\nContinual use of manual dexterity and gross motor skills with frequent use of bi-manual dexterity and fine motor skills.\nAble to reach hands and arms in any direction and kneel and stoop repeatedly.\nWorking Conditions\nMay be indoor or outdoor setting depending on outlet.\nVaried weather conditions are expected.\nMay work near toxic/caustic chemicals and with fumes or airborne particles.\nVarying schedule to include mornings, afternoons & evenings, holidays and extended hours as business dictates.
