We are an inclusive team of unique individuals who show up each day with a grateful spirit, humble heart, and a genuine respect for one another.\nThe Employee Relations (ER) Director is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing employee relations strategies, policies, and programs to ensure a positive, equitable, and compliant work environment for our diverse workforce across the United States. This role supervises two Employee Relations Managers and as a team they partner with HR leadership, club managers, and employees to resolve complex employee relations issues, foster employee engagement, and minimize organizational risk.\nPrimary Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:\n1. Employee Relations Leadership:\nServe as the subject matter expert on employee relations matters, advising HR leaders, managers, and employees.\nDevelop and implement proactive strategies to address workplace issues, improve engagement, and foster a positive culture.\nOversee the company’s employee relations framework, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and values.\nPromote a culture of inclusivity, trust, and accountability through ongoing communication and education initiatives.\n2. Investigations and Conflict Resolution:\nLead and conduct fair, thorough, and timely investigations into complex employee complaints, including allegations of harassment, discrimination, workplace misconduct, and policy violations.\nPartner with Legal, Compliance, and HR teams to assess risk and recommend appropriate actions based on findings.\nGuide managers on handling employee conflicts, ensuring consistent application of company policies and best practices.\n3. Talent Management, Performance and Coaching:\nPartner with Operations and Corporate leadership to map talent for critical roles and create development and succession plans\nPartner with managers and HR teams to address performance issues, implement performance improvement plans (PIPs), and ensure clear, constructive feedback is provided to employees.\nCoach leaders on effective communication, conflict resolution, and employee development to build strong, trust-based relationships.\n4. Policy and Compliance:\nDevelop, interpret, and communicate employee relations policies and procedures, ensuring they are up-to-date and compliant with federal, state, and local employment laws.\nMonitor changes in employment laws and recommend updates to HR policies and training as necessary.\nCollaborate with HR and Legal teams to minimize legal risks related to matters of employee relations.\n5. Data and Reporting:\nAnalyze employee relations trends and metrics to identify opportunities for process improvement, training, or policy adjustments.\nPrepare detailed reports on investigation outcomes, trends, and recommendations for leadership.\nQualifications:\nRequired:\nSeven (7) + years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3-5 years in a dedicated employee relations role.\nExperience working with exempt and non-exempt employees in a multi-state, remote environment preferred.\nExperience supervising other HR leaders.\nDemonstrated experience conducting complex investigations and managing sensitive employee relations issues.\nStrong knowledge of U.S. employment laws and regulations (e.g., ADA, FMLA, Title VII, FLSA, NLRA).\nExceptional interpersonal, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills.\nProven ability to influence and coach leaders at all levels of the organization.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability
