This position manages the flow of the dining room, greets and recognizes members, coordinates seating with the service team, and maintains awareness of reservations, table availability, and special requests.\nKey Responsibilities\nWarmly greet and acknowledge every member and guest upon arrival.\nLearn and use member names whenever possible to provide personalized service.\nManage reservations, walk-ins, and the dining room seating rotation.\nSeat members promptly while maintaining balanced server sections.\nCommunicate with servers and managers regarding new tables, special requests, large parties, and member needs.\nMaintain strong floor awareness and monitor table availability throughout service.\nKeep the host stand and entrance area clean, organized, and professional.\nAnswer telephone calls professionally and assist with dining reservations and basic club information.\nCommunicate expected wait times accurately and keep waiting members updated.\nAssist with menus and ensure they are clean, current, and properly organized.\nBe knowledgeable about current menus, daily specials, club events, dining hours, and promotions.\nAssist in promoting upcoming F&B and club events when interacting with members.\nRecognize returning members and communicate relevant member preferences to the service team when appropriate.\nAssist servers and other team members when needed, including light bussing, resetting tables, and maintaining dining-room readiness.\nMaintain a positive, professional attitude throughout the entire shift, including during busy periods and toward the end of service.\nFollow all club policies, appearance standards, and management direction.\n\nPosition Expectations\nThe ideal Hostess is friendly, polished, organized, attentive, and comfortable interacting with members of all ages.
