This role ensures a high-quality, consistent, and welcoming experience for members and guests by leading daily service, managing staff, and maintaining the club’s standards of hospitality. The Grille Manager plays a key role in creating a vibrant, efficient, and member-focused dining environment. Sharp attentive service is requested.\nKey Responsibilities\nMember Experience & Service Execution\nDeliver a warm, attentive, and personalized dining experience for members and guests\nMaintain a strong floor presence during all service periods (lunch, dinner, and peak club events)\nRecognize member preferences and build lasting relationships\nAddress and resolve service issues quickly and professionally\nGrille Operations\nOversee daily operations of the grille room, patio dining, and all member dining spaces\nManage reservations, waitlists, and table turns to optimize flow of service\nEnsure proper opening and closing procedures are followed\nMaintain cleanliness, organization, and readiness of all FOH dining areas\nTeam Leadership & Development\nRecruit, train, schedule, and supervise servers and support staff\nLead daily pre-shift meetings, communicating menu features, events, and service priorities\nCoach staff on service standards, upselling techniques, and member engagement\nFoster a positive, accountable, and team-oriented work environment\nCoordination with Culinary Team\nWork closely with the Executive Chef and kitchen team to ensure smooth service execution\nCommunicate menu changes, specials, and service timing expectations\nEvent & Club Activity Support\nSupport club events, golf tournaments, and social functions as needed\nEnsure grille service aligns with daily club activities and member traffic patterns\nAssist with dining service execution during high-volume club events\nAdministrative & Financial Oversight\nCreate and manage staff schedules based on forecasted business levels\nMonitor labor costs and productivity within budget guidelines\nOversee POS accuracy and daily service reporting\nManage FOH supplies including linens, table settings, and service equipment\nCompliance & Standards\nEnsure compliance with health and safety regulations\nMaintain high standards for staff appearance, service etiquette, and professionalism\nEnforce all club policies and procedures consistently\nQualifications\n2-5+ years of restaurant or private club management experience (grille or casual fine dining preferred)\nStrong leadership and communication skills\nProven ability to manage high-volume service while maintaining quality\nKnowledge of food service standards and dining room operations\nExperience with POS systems
