We're currently looking for a Procurement Manager to lead our Procurement and Contract Management function, based on a hybrid basis from our Brierley Hill office. We're particularly interested in candidates who have developed their procurement, supplier management or contract management expertise within the insurance sector, although we'll also consider candidates from the wider financial services industry.
This is a leadership role with responsibility for overseeing a team of specialists across supplier and contract management activities. Working closely with stakeholders across the business, you'll drive supplier strategy, support governance activities and ensure we continue to maximise value across our supplier and partner network.
In this role, you'll:
- Lead Arc's procurement and contract management function.
- Develop and implement supplier strategies aligned to business objectives.
- Oversee supplier sourcing, negotiations, contracting and onboarding activities.
- Manage supplier performance and ensure service standards are achieved.
- Lead, develop and support a team of procurement, supplier and contract management professionals.
- Drive continuous improvement across procurement and contract management processes.
- Build strong relationships with key suppliers, partners and internal stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings, efficiencies and supplier optimisation.
- Support governance, audit and regulatory requirements across the function.
We're looking for an experienced procurement or supplier management professional with proven people management experience, ideally gained within the insurance sector or wider financial services industry. You'll bring strong supplier and contract management expertise, excellent stakeholder management skills and a strategic approach to leading teams, driving continuous improvement and delivering business objectives.
