Because at Arclin, our people are trulyVital Beyond Measure.\nEH&S Manager Job Responsibilities:\nResponsible for the development and implementation of the Health, Safety, and Environmental (EH&S) programs and policies. Develop, implement, and maintain plant rules, policies, and procedures to ensure a safe and healthy working environment. Implement and maintain EH&S policies and standards developed by Corporate EH&S and other groups.\nResponsible for assuring the plant’s compliance with all State, Local, and Federal EH&S regulations including OSHA, EPA, DOT, DHS.\nResponsible for preparation and timely submittal of all EH&S monitoring and reporting required by environmental permits (Waste, Water, Air, Aboveground Storage Tanks, etc.) and EH&S regulations.\nWork closely with employees to provide personnel training and monitor results for EH&S management issues. Prepare and lead monthly site safety meetings with all shifts. Lead incident investigations, including determination of root causes and development of corrective actions to prevent recurrence.\nProvide support to the Plant Manager in the identification and completion of capital projects. Work with contractors to ensure safety on site during projects. This will include preparation of a Contractor Method Statement, when applicable.\nProvide oversight and support, where required, on aspects of Process Safety Management (PSM) and Risk Management Program (RMP). This will include but not be limited to: Hot Work, Contractor Management, Incident Investigation, Training, Auditing, Emergency Response Drills, and review and documentation of Management of Change.\nLead local hourly recruitment activities with assistance from corporate HR.\nEH&S Manager Job Requirements:\nBachelor’s Degree in EH&S/Engineering or related field.\n3 - 8+ years’ experience in environmental, health, safety, and industrial hygiene.\nExperience in Process Safety Management (PSM) and Risk Management Program (RMP).\nAir Permitting, , Storm Water, SPCC, NPDES, Hot Work Permit, LOTO, Confined Space Program, and PSM experience however, we will consider candidates who do not have experience in all of these topics specifically.\nDetail Oriented and ability to handle multiple tasks.\nMicrosoft Office including Advanced Excel skills.\nMust have floor supervisor mentality.\nMust be able to maintain collaborative working relationships with plant staff, production supervisors, operators and maintenance personnel, and the community.\nTravel less than 5%; must be available to respond to incidents and/or provide coverage after hours, as required.\nKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES -PREFERRED\nPrevious Chemical Manufacturing Experience\nPrevious experience in basic Human Resources Processes\nAir Permit Management\nWV Aboveground Storage Tank regulations\n***T his is an on-site role at our Cleveland location.\n**Please note: The above statements are designed to outline the functions and position requirements of this job.
