Because at Arclin, our people are truly Vital Beyond Measure.\nAbout the Role\nWe are seeking an experienced Trademark Paralegal to support our Atlanta-based office. As a valued team member, you will play a critical role in managing and protecting the company's extensive U.S. and international trademark portfolio.\nThe Trademark Paralegal will serve as the primary point of contact between Arclin and its outside trademark counsel, coordinating trademark matters, facilitating internal decision-making, and providing timely instructions to outside counsel.\nThe ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of independently managing day-to-day trademark portfolio activities while working collaboratively with Arclin's legal, marketing, and business teams.\nWhat You Will Do: The Trademark Paralegal is responsible for supporting and coordinating US and international trademark functions, including all aspects of trademark searching, clearance, assignment, renewal and recording, plus prosecution, maintenance, and enforcement.\nResponsibilities:\nAssist internal and external legal team in management of U.S. and international trademark portfolio, including reviewing and maintaining accuracy of trademark files, renewing/recording trademarks, as well as managing docket and deadlines.\nCoordinate with marketing teams to obtain evidence of use and other supporting information for US and global applications and renewals.\nCommunicate with external legal counsel to file and maintain trademark applications, renew registrations, and assist with responding to office actions.\nPrepare and file use and renewal documents in USPTO.\nReview trademark watch service reports and conduct preliminary research of potentially infringing marks.\nAssist attorneys in drafting correspondence to clients regarding U.S. and international trademark prosecution events.\nAssist with trademark search and clearance processes.\nAssist with trademark due diligence projects.\nAssist with trademark clearing house and domain name related activities.\nWhat we’re looking for:\nBachelor's degree or completion of paralegal program or equivalent experience and familiarity with Intellectual Property.\nAt least 3-5 years of substantive trademark paralegal experience.\nExcellent oral and written communication skills and demonstrated analytical ability.\nAbility to proactively problem-solve and exercise independent judgement and decision making skills.\nExcellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage a large volume of detailed tasks.\nWorking knowledge of U.S. trademark prosecution and maintenance procedures, including office actions, statements of use, declarations of continued use, renewals, and opposition proceedings.\nFamiliarity with international trademark prosecution and maintenance, including the Madrid Protocol and coordination with foreign trademark counsel.\nProficient in pertinent USPTO trademark systems, including Trademark Search, Trademark Center, Trademark Status and Document Retrieval system (TSDR), and Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB).\nKnowledge of Outlook, Microsoft Word, Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Corsearch, Saegis and CPi docket software.\nAble to work remotely and ensure that tasks are completed timely and efficiently;
