We strive to create a safe, inclusive, and collaborative workplace with competitive benefits, development opportunities and a culture that values and rewards employees on all levels of the organization.\nJob Summary:\nThe Business Intelligence Analyst designs, develops, and continuously improves analytics, visualization, and AI-assisted intelligence solutions that support decision-making across Kawneer.\nThis position offers the opportunity to help shape the future of business intelligence at Kawneer as the organization continues to evolve beyond traditional reporting toward more interactive analytics, modern visualization, self-service intelligence, AI-assisted insight generation, and emerging Microsoft data platforms.\nWorking closely with business and technology teams, the analyst develops analytics and intelligence solutions that improve data accessibility, enhance how information is presented and consumed, and enable better operational and business decision-making. The role supports the continued evolution of Kawneer's analytics capabilities through technologies such as Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, semantic models, Copilot-enabled analytics, and other emerging intelligence capabilities.\n In this role, you will:\nDesign, develop, and maintain analytics, intelligence, and visualization solutions that support operational and strategic decision-making.\n\nCreate dashboards, KPIs, semantic models, and analytical experiences that improve how business information is consumed and understood.\n\nLeverage AI-assisted analytics, self-service capabilities, and modern Microsoft technologies to improve insight generation and analytical productivity.\n\nPartner with business stakeholders to translate business questions into meaningful analytical solutions and actionable insights.\n\nImprove the accessibility, consistency, quality, and trustworthiness of enterprise data and intelligence assets.\n\nSupport and enhance Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, and related analytics platforms.\n\nEvaluate emerging analytics, visualization, and AI capabilities and apply them where they provide measurable business value.\n\nAlso note:\nAnalytics and intelligence solutions become more intuitive, flexible, and widely adopted.\n\nBusiness users gain faster access to meaningful information and insights.\n\nSelf-service and AI-assisted analytics capabilities expand across the organization.\n\nEnterprise data and intelligence assets become more consistent, scalable, and valuable.\n\nAnalytics and visualization capabilities continue to evolve in support of Kawneer's digital transformation.\n\n You have:\nAssociate’s degree or 5 years of experience\n\nExperience designing and delivering business intelligence, analytics, reporting, and data visualization solutions.\n\nStrong experience with Power BI and modern data visualization practices.\n\nExperience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure analytics services, cloud analytics platforms, or similar technologies required.\n\nExperience leveraging AI-assisted analytics, Copilot capabilities, analytical automation, or emerging intelligence technologies.\n\nStrong understanding of data modeling, semantic models, KPI development, reporting architecture, and visualization best practices.\n\nStrong analytical thinking, communication, stakeholder engagement, and data storytelling skills.\n\nCuriosity and enthusiasm for modern analytics, visualization, and AI capabilities, with a desire to continuously improve how business information is delivered and consumed.\n\nEmployees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
