Reports to the Plant Manager\nand is responsible and accountable for:\n* Ensuring the Environmental, Health, and Safety activities reduce risk, eliminate incidents, and are performed within external\nregulatory requirements and internal management guidelines.\n* Development, implement, and document EHS programs in accordance with Local, State, and Federal EPA and OSHA\nrequirements; and in compliance of Arconic and Kawneer policies and management systems.\n* Prepare, submit, and document all EPA and OSHA Reporting Requirements, up to but not limited to OSHA 300 Log,\nSARA 311, 312, and 313 Annual Reports, MS Hazardous Waste Generators Annual Report, and MS Air Emissions\nAnnual Inventory Report.\n* Accurate submission and completion of all Springdale incident reporting to Kawneer and Arconic within designated deadlines\nand reporting process guidelines.\n* Prepare and submit all Kawneer and Arconic required monthly and quarterly performance index reports and metrics.\n* Develop, conduct/oversee and supervise EHS Training, including external regulatory and internal management programs.\n* Approval and procurement of EHS for Waste Characterization and Disposal, PPE, I/H, Noise Testing, Training Resources,\nand any other Environmental, Health, and Safety vendors as required.\n* Acquire and maintain accredited training needed in areas related to EHS for training, report submittal, and general awareness.\n* Liaison for Kawneer, regulatory agencies, and outside vendors in the area of Environment, Health, and Safety.\n* Set an impeccable example.\n* Ensure environmental permit conditions are understood, implemented, and enforced.\n* Ensure supervisors and department employees attend all required training.\n\nBasic Qualifications:\n1. Bachelor's Degree in Safety or Environmental Engineering or relevant Bachelor's degree.\n2. Five years professional experience in Environmental Health and Safety in a manufacturing environment.\nPreferred: CSP or CIH.\nEmployees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.
