Provide complex code modification, testing and debugging tasks.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nFix bugs, add enhancements. Perform unit/module testing of software to find errors and confirm programs meet specifications.\nTroubleshoot issues and escalations from field installations and provide patches/assistance to L1 support.\nAssist quality assurance team by providing assistance and support as needed to determine system problems. Collaborate with quality assurance in creation of their test plans and participate in reviews.\nWrite and maintain documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, testing, changes, and corrections.\nMentor group of junior engineers if necessary.\n\nSkills and experience\nStrong object-oriented programming experience in Java.\nWorking knowledge of data storage concepts and disaster recovery infrastructure/technology.\nKnowledge on Linux/UNIX will be a plus.\nKnowledge of programming languages such as C++ a plus.\nDevelopment experience on virtualization environment like VMWare, HYPER-V, Exchange, O365 will be a plus.\nKnowledge of networking concepts and RPC.\nHas passion for solving complex problems.
