We’re looking for a Senior Developer 2 to be part of making this happen.\nRole Overview\nArctic Wolf is looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer to join the SOAR team. SOAR (Security Orchestration, Automation and Response) is a security operations platform that helps organizations streamline incident response, automate repetitive security workflows, and improve analyst efficiency through intelligent orchestration and automation.\nAs a Senior Developer 2, you will own the design and delivery of major product capabilities across the SOAR platform. You will work across the full technology stack-building scalable backend services, modern user experiences, and cloud-native solutions. In addition to delivering high-impact features, you will provide technical leadership, mentor engineers, drive engineering best practices, and collaborate across teams to shape the technical direction of the platform.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead the design, development, and delivery of complex full-stack features across the SOAR platform.\n\nArchitect and build scalable backend services using Go, Java, Python, or Node.js.\n\nDesign and develop modern, responsive frontend applications using React and related technologies.\n\nDesign robust APIs and build scalable microservices that integrate with databases and event-driven systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.\n\nDrive architectural discussions and make technical decisions that improve scalability, reliability, and maintainability.\n\nOwn major product features end-to-end, from design through deployment and operational support.\n\nBuild and deploy cloud-native applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.\n\nDrive engineering excellence through code reviews, design reviews, automated testing, CI/CD, and operational best practices.\n\nMentor engineers, provide technical guidance, and foster a culture of collaboration, quality, and continuous improvement.\n\nPartner with Product Management, UX, Quality Engineering, and other engineering teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.\n\nRequired Qualifications\n7+ years of professional experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer.\n\nStrong experience building production-grade applications across both frontend and backend technologies.\n\nProficiency in one or more backend languages such as Go, Java, Python, or Node.js.\n\nStrong hands-on experience with React and modern frontend development practices.\n\nExperience designing and building REST APIs, distributed systems, and microservices architectures.\n\nHands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.\n\nStrong understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases and messaging technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.\n\nExperience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and applying DevOps best practices.\n\nStrong system design, debugging, and performance optimization skills.\n\nProven ability to lead technical initiatives, mentor engineers, and influence engineering decisions across teams.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience building enterprise SaaS or cybersecurity products.\n\nExperience driving architectural improvements and reducing technical debt.\n\nFamiliarity with observability platforms, monitoring, logging, and production operations.\n\nExperience leading cross-functional technical initiatives in Agile environments.\n\nAbout the Company\nAt Arctic Wolf, we foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that thrives on diversity of thought, background, and culture.
