We’re looking for a Senior Developer 2 to be part of making this happen.

As a Senior Developer 2, You will work across the full technology stack-building scalable backend services, modern user experiences, and cloud-native solutions. In addition to delivering high-impact features, you will provide technical leadership, mentor engineers, driveengineering best practices, and collaborateacross teams to shape the technical direction of the platform.You will collaborate closely with our Engineering, Product, and Customer Success teams to guarantee release readiness and high-quality delivery with a heavy focus on automation, reliability, and quality assurance.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer.

  • Strong experience building production-grade applications across both frontend and backend technologies.

  • Proficiencyin one or more backend languages such as Go and Python (Bonus -React).

  • Experience designing and building REST APIs, distributed systems, and microservicesarchitectures.

  • Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.

  • Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC; e.g.Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation) and configuration management tools

  • Strong understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases and messaging technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.

  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, ECS and cloud networking concepts and architecture (VPCs, subnetting, routing,CDNs, load balancers, security groups)

  • Experience with Azure cloud platform and services

  • Experience with CI/CD tooling (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Bazel) with a focus on deploying to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)

  • Experience with build tools and systems (e.g., Make, Bazel)

  • Expertisein release automation and orchestration frameworks/tools

  • Experience with code quality and security tooling (e.g.SonarQube)

  • Strong understanding of release engineering principles and best practices

  • Strong systemdesign, debugging, and performance optimization skills.

  • Proven ability to lead technical initiativesand influence engineering decisions across teams.

  • Experience preparing, reviewingand executing deployment plans, release plans, MOPsand rollback procedures for production environments

  • Proficiencyacross multiple operating systems and platforms (Windows, Linux, macOS; Intel, ARM)

  • Experience leading an Agile/Scrum team

  • Experience owning or orchestrating large-scale or enterprise software releases

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience debugging and deciphering network and/or endpoint device logs

  • Experience delivering and deploying cloud-based software as well as endpoint software

  • Experience with monitoring, observability, and alerting platforms (e.g.Grafana/Prometheus/Sentry/Datadog)

About the Role

You'llbe working as a Senior Developer 2 on our MDR Endpoint cloudteam, responsible for ensuring quality through automation, executing deployments, and maintainingthe reliability of Arctic Wolf's endpoint software across multiple platforms and cloud environments.

Some of your day-to-day responsibilities will be:

  • Act as the technical lead of the team, focused on designing, architecting, and overseeing all the team’s projects

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute software releases across customer environments and geographies

  • Design and implement automated builds, testing, deployment, and rollback strategies

  • Design, build and maintainCI/CD pipelines and workflows for cloud-based services

  • Build and maintainquality gates and validation frameworks to ensure release readiness

  • Collaborate with software developers, QA, customer support, and product teams to ensure high-quality delivery

  • Troubleshoot and resolve deployment issues and assistwith root cause analysis

  • Manage and optimizeinfrastructure across AWS, Azure, and vSphere environments

  • Build runbooks and documentation for internal teams and end users

  • Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements during deployments

  • Contribute to continuous improvement of team processes, leveragingautomation to ensure efficiency, reliability, and quality

  • Evaluate and implement new relevant technologies and tools

  • Mentor junior engineers

  • Assistand contribute to intra/inter-team planning
