This role combines advanced backend engineering, cloud-native architecture, cybersecurity automation, and applied artificial intelligence to develop intelligent systems that strengthen Arctic Wolf’s security operations capabilities.\nAs a senior technical leader, you will help define architectural direction, mentor engineers, and drive innovation across automation frameworks, detection pipelines, and artificial intelligence-powered security workflows.\nResponsibilities\nDesign, develop, and deploy scalable backend automation solutions for security operations.\nBuild cloud-native services and microservices using Python, Go, and AWS technologies.\nDevelop detection pipelines, incident response automation, and security orchestration frameworks.\nIntegrate AI-powered capabilities, including LLMs, agentic frameworks, and intelligent workflows.\nCollaborate with threat researchers, data scientists, and engineering teams to deliver innovative security solutions.\nImplement CI/CD, Infrastructure-as-Code, and modern software engineering best practices.\nProvide technical leadership through architecture design, code reviews, and mentorship.\nDrive innovation in cybersecurity automation, AI adoption, and platform scalability.\nRequired Qualifications\n10+ years of experience in backend software development, cloud infrastructure, or security-focused engineering.\nStrong expertise in distributed systems, cloud-native architectures, and automation platforms.\nHands-on experience with Python, Go, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and microservices.\nExperience working with AWS, Azure, or GCP environments.\nProven experience integrating AI/ML capabilities into production systems.\nMandatory Skills\n\nExperience developing applications using Model Context Protocol (MCP).\nHands-on experience with AI Gateways (LLM & MCP).\nExperience with LangChain, LangGraph, Agentic AI Frameworks, and RAG architectures.\nAdvanced knowledge of Generative AI, LLMs, and Small Language Models (SLMs).\nWorking knowledge of cybersecurity concepts including: Threat Hunting Vulnerability & Exposure Management MITRE ATT&CK Security Operations.\nPreferred Qualifications\n\nExperience building security operations or cybersecurity automation platforms.\nExperience working with SOC, threat detection, or incident response teams.\nFamiliarity with threat intelligence, security analytics, and detection engineering.\nExperience contributing to technical strategy and architecture leadership.\nOn-Camera Policy\nTo support a fair, transparent, and engaging interview experience, candidates interviewing remotely are expected to be on camera during all video interviews.
