This is not a sit-behind-the-wheel role - our drivers are active contributors to each job from start to finish, including loading and unloading, container labeling, waste sorting, and completion of regulatory paperwork.\n$7000 Sign on bonus Available!\nPay: Pay for this role starts at $30/hour, CDL drivers with experience can earn more depending on experience.\nSchedule & Travel\nGuaranteed 40 hours per week; overtime is required\nOvernight travel expected approximately 2 times per month (1-2 nights per trip)\nA Day in the Life\nWhile no two days are exactly the same, a typical day may look like this:\nArrive at the office and collect job paperwork\nLoad required supplies and equipment for the day's jobs\nAssist in cleaning and scraping the inside of and assists with removal of underground chemical storage tanks; prepares waste for proper disposal.\nAssist in demolition of contaminated buildings and land sites; operates excavation and filter press operation equipment.\nDrive to customer sites throughout the day\nLabel drums, sort waste streams, and complete hazardous waste manifests at each stop\nRespond to emergency spills.\nSubmit completed paperwork and assist with unloading the truck as needed\nKey Responsibilities\nOperate vacuum trucks and straight trucks safely and in compliance with DOT regulations\nLoad and unload trucks, ensuring proper weight distribution and securement\nAccurately label containers and complete all required hazardous waste documentation\nMaintain a clean and organized vehicle\nCommunicate professionally with customers at each stop\nAdhere to all safety, environmental, and compliance standards\nEducation\n- High-school diploma or equivalent (required)Experience\nMinimum 1 year of CDL driving experience\nValid CDL Class B license\nHazmat endorsement required\nAir Brake endorsement required\nTanker endorsement required\nThis role requires the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including a respirator.
