This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for leading a small team and coordinating onshore and offshore consulting resources to design, build, deploy, and support AI-enabled business solutions.\nYou will work closely with business and technology leaders to turn high-value opportunities into working solutions using Microsoft Azure and leading AI platforms such as Azure OpenAI and Anthropic Claude. You will also help establish practical AI development standards, grow the capabilities of internal resources, and encourage responsible adoption of AI throughout Arcwood.\nThis is an opportunity to join Arcwood during an important stage of growth and help build an emerging enterprise AI capability, team, and portfolio of solutions.\nEssential Functions & Requirements\nPrioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and maintaining safe practices at all times.\nLeads and develops a small team of AI and technical resources.\nCoordinates work across internal employees, onshore consultants, offshore resources, and technology partners.\nServes as a hands-on technical leader, participating directly in solution design, prototyping, development, integration, testing, and deployment.\nLeads development of AI-enabled applications, generative AI solutions, agents, intelligent workflows, and business-process automation.\nPartners with business teams to translate business problems into practical AI solutions.\nHelps move successful AI concepts and prototypes into production applications.\nWorks with Microsoft Azure cloud services and enterprise AI platforms to build secure and scalable solutions.\nIntegrates AI models and services from multiple providers, including Azure OpenAI/OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, and other appropriate platforms.\nHelps establish development standards, reusable patterns, documentation, monitoring, and support practices for AI solutions.\nSupports Arcwood's AI governance, security, data, and responsible AI requirements in partnership with enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, data, legal, and other stakeholders.\nCoaches and upskills internal technology resources in modern AI technologies and development techniques.\nHelps employees and business teams understand how AI can be used effectively and responsibly.\nManages consultants against defined deliverables, timelines, quality expectations, and knowledge-transfer objectives.\nTake on additional duties, as assigned, to support the team and organization.\nEducation\n- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, information systems, data science, analytics, AI/ML, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.Experience\n5+ years of experience in software development, cloud engineering, data engineering, AI/ML, analytics, or related technology roles.\n2+ years of experience leading technical projects, small teams, and consulting resources.\nHands-on experience developing and deploying applications using Microsoft Azure cloud services.\nExperience developing solutions using generative AI and large language models.\nExperience with Azure OpenAI/OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, or comparable commercial/open-source AI platforms.\nExperience integrating APIs, applications, data platforms, and AI services.\nExperience taking technology solutions from prototype through production and ongoing support.\nExperience managing consulting or offshore development resources preferred.\nExperience with AI agents, AI workflow automation, prompt engineering, or similar technologies preferred.\nExperience with Azure AI Foundry, Azure AI Search, Azure Machine Learning, or related Microsoft AI technologies preferred.\nOverview\nAbout Arcwood\nEvery advancement-from the products we use to the medicines and technologies we depend on-creates waste that must be handled responsibly.
