The Supervisor recommends improvements in production methods, equipment, operating procedures and working conditions.\nKey Responsibilities:\nEnsure safe operation of all equipment, trains associates as necessary, and promptly investigates and reports all safety concerns.\nBalances safety, quality, productivity, cost, and morale to achieve positive results in all areas with a focus on continuous improvement in all areas.\nPlan and establish work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet daily goals.\nEnsures effective employee relations through coaching and development and resolves employee issues through problem resolution OR Confer with management for guidance in resolving employee complaints and or concerns.\nDevelop and/or implement training plans to increase employees’ skills and capabilities. Read and analyse charts, work orders, maintenance, and production schedules in order to meet customer requirements.\nConfer with other supervisors and managers to coordinate operations and activities throughout the operation.\nInspect materials, product, and equipment to detect defects or malfunctions. Determine best problem solving solution.\nEnsure all teammates adhere to production and processing standards.\nEnsure Company procedures and policies are enforced.\nEnsure all production, quality, and maintenance systems are in working order.\nEstablish a working environment which promotes the importance of employees acting with integrity and in an ethical manner.\nEnsure the execution of key internal controls within the area of responsibility.\nDemonstrate commitment to the Ardagh core values and policies and procedures.\nRequirements:\nBachelor’s degree preferred; preferably in Engineering or Business Management. \nAt least 3 years supervisory experience in a manufacturing facility.\nExperience in high speed manufacturing and PLC Controls.\nKnowledge of electrical and process improvements.\nMechanical: Knowledge of machines, tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.\nMust have proficient computer skills, including Microsoft office products.\nSAP preferred.\nProduction and Processing: Knowledge of raw materials, production equipment and processes, quality control, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.\nAdministrative and Management: Knowledge of business and management principles involved in planning, resource allocation, employee relations, leadership techniques, in the coordination of people and resources.\nExperience with Six Sigma, Lean or other improvement philosophies\nArdagh Metal Packaging is a leading global supplier of sustainable, infinitely recyclable metal beverage cans to brand owners.
