This role reports to the Production Team Leader, with functional responsibility to the Technical Team Leaders\nPurpose of function / main tasks:\nWork safely while performing routine and non-routine tasks |\nCarry out general workshop duties, including rework of used parts \nTroubleshoot and resolve process equipment faults \nParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives \nSupport training and development of apprentices and team members \nMaintain housekeeping standards and ensure a safe, organized work environment compliant with food safety \nProfessional Requirements:\nTime-served apprenticeship or equivalent in electrical or mechanical engineering \nEducation: NVQ Level 3 or equivalent City and Guilds\nONC and HNC In electrical or mechanical engineering\n18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671) - For those with an electrical bias\nExperience with Siemens S7 and TIA portal -For those with an electrical bias\nFabricating/Machining/Welding skills -For those with a mechanical bias\nMaintenance engineering experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment \nExperience with robots (Fanuc + Kuka) desirable\nHave a strong experience in diagnosing and rectifying running faults\nMethodical approach with strong attention to detail \nHighly flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities \nAbility to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplined team, prioritizing safety \nSelf-motivated, proactive, and able to take responsibility\n\nWorking Pattern:\n4 x 12hours shifts: 2 days 2 nights / 4 off\nFixed rota with 5 x 18-day holiday breaks per annum.\nPackage:\nCirca: £58,100 per annum (including shift allowance)\nIndividual Private health care\nKPI bonus Scheme\nCompany Pension Scheme\nAbout Ardagh Metal Packaging\nArdagh Metal Packaging (AMP) is a leading supplier of sustainable, infinitely recyclable metal beverage cans to brand owners globally.
