Understand and use 5S and Model Storeroom principles to organize and maintain Storeroom and Storeroom offices.\nPurchasing and inventory process in SAP for all production and production support materials. Utilize the SAP system to ensure optimal use of inventory levels and minimize carrying costs. \nCoordinate with maintenance department for planning of daily maintenance procedures preventative maintenance and maintenance days. \nSupervising storeroom processes to include vendor relations service coordination and vendor managed inventories.\nInteract effectively with hourly and salaried production maintenance, HR and accounting employees. Internal customers include all production personnel, maintenance personnel and plant accounting financial. External customers include all Ardagh customers and vendors.\nManages vendor relationships to include but not limited to janitorial services, employees and landscape services employees. \nSources materials parts and supplies to meet plant demand for value quality and or speed of delivery. \nMaintain accurate purchasing records of spare parts, process materials and services purchased. \nWorks closely with plant and corporate accounting departments to ensure recordkeeping is accurate and proper purchasing procedures are followed. \nResponsible for receiving all parts and supplies. \nPhysically moves and places parts and supplies from receiving point to proper bin rack or other storage locations. \nCommunicate with internal customers to understand their needs related to parts supplies purchasing. \nKnowledge / Skills / Experience:\nMust be organized, self-directed and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and demands to meet the needs of a 24/7 high speed manufacturing facility. \nBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred. \nHIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA REQUIRED.\nKey Job Competencies / Physical Demands:\nMust be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. \nFollow proper accounting procedures for purchasing and inventory control while maintaining accurate records for auditing purposes. \nAbout Ardagh Metal Packaging\nArdagh Metal Packaging (AMP) is a leading supplier of sustainable, infinitely recyclable metal beverage cans to brand owners globally.
