This role will collaborate with technical teams to support geospatial infrastructure modernization, system monitoring, and cloud architecture assessments.\nResponsibilities and Duties:\nAdminister, configure, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot ArcGIS Enterprise environments, geospatial services, datasets, and integrations.\nAutomate ArcGIS service publication and data refresh workflows across integration, certification, and production environments.\nPlan, test, execute, and document ArcGIS Enterprise upgrades, including compatibility testing, rollback planning, and post-upgrade validation.\nDeploy, configure, and maintain geospatial administration tools, including GeoJobe Admin Tools and CleanMyOrg.\nPerform ArcGIS Server load testing, performance tuning, capacity planning, scaling optimization, and resource right-sizing.\nSupport ArcGIS service-health dashboards, system monitoring, and integration with enterprise observability tools.\nContribute to assessments and modernization planning for ArcGIS Enterprise on Amazon EKS, including architecture, cost, security, operational risks, and migration considerations.\nCollaborate with infrastructure, cloud, development, and geospatial teams to support system reliability and operational improvements.\nMaintain technical documentation, performance metrics, and change-management records.\nRequirements:\nBachelor's degree in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Computer Science, Information Technology, Geography, Engineering, or a related technical field.\nMinimum of 5 years of professional experience in GIS systems administration, geospatial engineering, or closely related technical roles.\nExperience administering and supporting Esri ArcGIS Enterprise environments, including ArcGIS Server. \nExperience configuring, publishing, maintaining, and troubleshooting enterprise GIS services and datasets.\nExperience automating geospatial workflows, service publication, or data management processes.\nExperience supporting ArcGIS Enterprise upgrades, system maintenance, and compatibility testing.\nKnowledge of enterprise GIS architecture, system integrations, and infrastructure dependencies.\nExperience monitoring and troubleshooting GIS platform performance, availability, and operational issues.\nFamiliarity with scripting or automation technologies used in enterprise GIS environments. \nExperience developing technical documentation and supporting established change-management procedures.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience supporting GIS systems within federal government or other large enterprise environments.\nExperience with Python, ArcPy, or ArcGIS API for Python. Experience with GeoJobe Admin Tools, CleanMyOrg, or similar GIS administration utilities.\nExperience with ArcGIS Monitor, service-health dashboards, or enterprise monitoring solutions.\nExperience with ArcGIS Server load testing, performance optimization, and capacity planning.
