You must have the following required skills, certifications and demonstrated experience in and/or with:\nWorking on accessibility testing, with an ability to analyze complex technical issues related to accessibility and provide solutions. \nAbility to document accessibility compliance efforts, findings, and recommendations. \nSection 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (29 U.S.C. 794d), WCAG 2.1 AA (or higher) standards, Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 39.2 standards. \nTesting proficiency and expertise with assistive technologiesincluding JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, and ZoomText. \n\nWorking on User interfaces (UI) design and development.\nPrinciples of User Experience (UX) design with a focus on accessibility, User Interface (UI) development best practices for accessibility, and familiarity with design tools like Figma and Adobe XO. \nIntegrating digital accessibility into every phase of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), to include requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance. \nCoordinating between design, engineering, and productstakeholders. \n\nReviewing and auditing digital products for accessibility compliance and an understanding of how to enforceaccessibility standards across different development workflows.\n\nAbility to provide training on accessibility standards, guidelines, and best practices to development teams and other stakeholders.\nHighly Desired Qualifications\nOther skills and demonstrated experiences that are highly desired but not mandatory to perform the work, include:\nWorking with Web applications (HTML, CSS, JavaScript,frameworks like React, Angular, Vue.js), Desktop software, and Mobile apps.\n\nDesign tool governance (Figma libraries, design tokens, or similar).\nCertification(s): Certified Professional in Accessibility CoreCompetencies (CPACC), Certified Associate in Accessibility (CAA) from the International Association of Accessibility Professionals (IAAP), or other relevant accessibility certifications.\n\nWhat We Offer You\n SCHEDULE:\nThis is a full-time position with consultants expected to be available and working onsite in McLean, VA during core hours.\nReady to take the next step in your career?
