All of this with a supportive management team as well as working alongside some of the industry’s top talent.\nYou’ll have access to wellbeing programs, fantastic discounts across many big-name businesses including supermarkets, gym memberships, restaurants, and healthcare cash plans etc.\nFurther perks of working with us (Fixed benefits):\nEmployer pension contribution of 10% (providing you, the Employee provides 5%).\n\nGood work life balance - flexibility to suit you.\n\nCompetitive salary.\n\nLife Assurance at X4 of your base salary.\n\nGroup Income Protection.\n\nGenerous Annual Leave entitlement.\n\nPrivate Medical Insurance.\n\nGroup annual bonus scheme.\n\nManager says:\nThis role acts as a key client management resource within the Placing Team, supporting placing brokers in the execution, administration, and ongoing maintenance of delegated underwriting arrangements, including binders and lineslips.\nWhile the position includes technical responsibilities, particularly in relation to bordereaux (BDX) processing, regulatory compliance, and delegated authority operations, its primary focus is to enable brokers to deliver an exceptional client experience, ensure seamless operational delivery, and provide hands-on support throughout the full lifecycle of delegated placements.\nWorking at the heart of the London Market, the successful candidate will act as a vital link between brokers, coverholders, insurers, and clients, ensuring delegated arrangements are managed efficiently, compliantly, and in accordance with market requirements.\nWhat you will do:\nAct as a daily point of contact for placing brokers on all delegated authority matters.\n\nWork closely with brokers during the placement and renewal of binders, providing support with documentation, onboarding, and coverholder engagement.\n\nProactively liaise with Clients and TPAs to ensure a smooth operational experience, acting as a “go-to” support contact for non-commercial queries.\n\nSupport the delivery of client service standards through regular touchpoints, updates, and issue resolution.\n\nAssist brokers in the collation and completion of placement documentation, including market presentations, compliance forms, TOBAs, and binder contracts.\n\nTrack and manage outstanding items (e.g., signatures, contract clauses, approvals) to allow brokers to focus on relationship and market-facing responsibilities.\n\nCoordinate internally with compliance, finance, and technical teams to ensure placing brokers have the support and information they need to manage binder portfolios effectively.\n\nAssist with new coverholder onboarding including due diligence, system setup, and introduction to processes.\n\nEnsure all binder arrangements are managed in line with FCA, Lloyd’s, and internal delegated authority requirements.\n\nMaintain accurate and up-to-date registers of all delegated authority agreements.\n\nEnsure all required documentation (TOBAs, contracts, audits, etc.) is logged, reviewed, and followed up appropriately.\n\nAssist with audit tracking and data collection.\n\nReceive and validate monthly bordereaux (BDX) submissions from Clients.\n\nWork with Clients to resolve data issues or discrepancies, ensuring timely submission to relevant systems (e.g., Mrald, IBA etc).\n\nSupport reconciliation of data against expected underwriting performance or accounting schedules.\n\nFlag late submissions or data anomalies proactively and work with relevant parties to correct them.\n\nSupport the monthly reporting process by preparing BDX summaries or assisting in the analysis of premium and claims data.\n\nAssist placing brokers with performance insights to help manage binders, coverholder relationships, and renewal strategy.\n\nHelp prepare renewal packs and MI for internal and external distribution.\n\nWhat you will bring:\nStrong understanding of delegated underwriting arrangements including binder structure, compliance, and reporting requirements.\n\nWorking knowledge of Lloyd’s and London Market delegated authority processes.\n\nUnderstanding of TOBA agreements, coverholder onboarding, and audit protocols.\n\nFamiliarity with bordereaux processing systems (e.g., Atlas, internal booking systems).\n\nKnowledge of placing support practices and broker-client servicing.\n\nPrior experience in an insurance operation, delegated underwriting, broker support, or technical processing role.\n\nDemonstrated experience working with BDX data and binder contracts.\n\nExposure to Lloyd’s and/or company market binder business.\n\nExperience liaising directly with brokers and external stakeholders such as coverholders or TPAs.\n\nComfortable operating within a regulatory and compliance-focused environment\n\nThink you don’t meet every requirement?\nWe are an equal opportunities Employer, dedicated to creating a diverse, inclusive, and authentic workplace where everyone can thrive, bring their whole self to work, and reach their full potential.
