We work closely together to manage various processes and tasks related to onboarding and due diligence.\nOne of the responsibilities the team performs is the verification of bank details before any payments can be made.\nDue to expansion of the Ardonagh Group we are looking to hire an additional colleague to join our bank details verification ‘sub-team’ to ensure current payment authorisation procedure is followed across the Group.\nKey Role Accountabilities:\nMain focus of the role will involve ensuring bank details obtained from external parties are appropriately verified in line with procedure. This is primarily achieved by independently searching for a phone number online and calling to corroborate the information received. We deal with clients across the world so some flexibility on time zones is required.\nWorking within the KYC Team to support the business in completing bank details verifications, in accordance with internal processes.\n\nReviewing records and identifying existing accounts that require amendment or verification.\n\nArranging internal approvals and assisting with urgent payment requests.\n\nCompleting sanctions screening and discounting false positive results.\n\nUnderstanding all First Line of Defence elements of the Ardonagh Specialty Compliance model.\n\nQualifications & Experience:\nExperience of customer service, especially a phone-based role would be an advantage.\n\nInsurance experience would be an advantage.\n\nLanguage skills would be an advantage.\n\nPerson Specification:\nBeing highly organised is essential.\n\nConfident with phoning clients and professional phone manner.\n\nAbility to self-motivate and work independently, as well as part of a team.\n\nWilling to persevere with challenges such as time zones and language barriers.\n\nFlexibility to attempt calls out of hours on occasion.\n\nStrong attention to detail and ability to spot inconsistencies or errors.\n\nHome-based but able to come into the London office when required.\n\nThink you don’t meet every requirement?\nWe are an equal opportunities Employer, dedicated to creating a diverse, inclusive, and authentic workplace where everyone can thrive, bring their whole self to work, and reach their full potential.
