We’re seeking a Project Engineer to join our growing Site/Civil team in Prescott, AZ. In this role, you’ll lead innovative land development projects that enhance communities-from parks and recreation to stormwater systems-while enjoying a collaborative culture and work-life balance.\nPrimary Function\nIn this role, you will have the ability to work on a variety of residential, commercial, municipal, and park projects.\nPrimary Duties\nParticipates in the development of project design concepts and criteria \nProvide design engineering and produce plans for multiple projects (both public and private). \nOrganizes project information, files, and records \nAssist with client interface, budgets and schedules, and execute on time/on budget project delivery \nMakes recommendations on design alternatives and assists in proposal preparation \nMay plan, organize, and supervise design activities for a project of significant size and complexity (e.g., a multi-structure facility requiring frequent interface and collaboration with various engineering disciplines) \nCoordinate with project design team members, clients, contractors and permit agency representatives regularly \nPerforms quantity takeoff and cost estimations \nAnalyzes stormwater drainage and prepares technical reports \nHave the capability and experience to understand and review designs with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Hydraflow software \nParticipates in budget and QC reviews \nAssist and collaborate with Ardurra construction administration staff during the construction phase of the project \nHas familiarity with Shop Drawings and RFIs \nExperience with design of roads, water and wastewater systems is a plus \nEducation and Experience Requirements\n5 to 8 years of relevant experience in site design and permitting \nBachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university or college \nEIT certification required \nAbility to obtain State of Arizona PE license within 12 to 18 months of hire \nProficient working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsoft Office Suites, hydrology and hydraulic analysis programs, and pipe network analysis \nStrong communication skills both written and verbal \nStrong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills \nHighly self-motivated self-starter, able to forecast and initiate project management tasks \nWork independently but collaborate as needed \nProject management experience is a plus \nWhy Ardurra?\nWhile Ardurra offers competitive compensation and rich benefits programs, it is our culture that truly sets us apart from our peers.
