We leverage the depth of our professional and technical expertise, as well as our integrated structure, to deliver practical, innovative solutions for our clients.\nHere you will have the opportunity to join our growing SCADA team where you can contribute to some of the nation’s most important infrastructure projects!\nPrimary Function:\nAs a SCADA Engineer, you will be responsible for the development, installation, testing, troubleshooting and maintenance of Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) hardware and software, including HMI and PLC programming used primarily on specialty projects the water and wastewater industry.\nPrimary Duties:\nWill work in the field on project sites to develop, install, configure, and maintain SCADA systems.\nTroubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues in SCADA equipment and related components.\nPerform routine system upgrades and patches to ensure optimal performance.\nCollaborate with project teams to integrate new SCADA technologies and features into existing systems. \nRespond promptly to emergency situations and provide technical support as needed.\nAbility to analyze and prepare documents, reports and correspondence.\nLead and coordinate SCADA/field equipment troubleshooting and support verification of field data to the SCADA system.\nWork with the SCADA vendor to troubleshoot, identify, and resolve communication integration issues.\nProvide reports for each project site visit, detailing work performed, and issues addressed.\nConduct field inspections and site visits to verify existing conditions and determine project feasibility.\nQualifications\nAssociates Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience.\nMinimum of 2+ years of hands-on experience in programming, development, installation, testing, configuration, validation and troubleshooting of SCADA systems, preferably in water and wastewater projects.\nExperience in PLC programming with systems such as Allen Bradley Compact Logix and Control Logix, Schneider Electric Modicon and SCADAPack, Siemens Simatic S7 1200 and 1500 series, and CTI, is a plus.\nProficiency in HMI programming with software platforms such as VTScada, Rockwell Automation FactoryTalk, AVEVA System Platform/InTouch (Wonderware), Inductive Automation Ignition, Siemens WinCC, ICONIC, GE iFix, or similar is preferred.\nStrong knowledge of network communication protocols (e.g., Modbus TCP/IP, Modbus RTU, Ethernet IP, DNP3) used in SCADA systems.\nKnowledge of process control systems and components. \nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.\nAbility to travel to project sites and conduct SCADA field services.\nAbility to follow company and site safety requirements. \nThe following Certification/Training are considered a plus: Rockwell Automation Allen Bradley Control Logix Programming Certificate, RSLogix5000 training, VTScada training certificate, Siemens S7 programming certificate, Wonderware training certificates, GE iFix training certificate.\nWhy Ardurra?\nWhile Ardurra offers competitive compensation and rich benefits programs, it is our culture that truly sets us apart from our peers.
