In this role, you’ll lead innovative land development projects that enhance communities-from parks and recreation to stormwater systems-while enjoying a collaborative culture and work-life balance.\nPrimary Function:\nThe Senior Project Manager manages the full life cycle (proposal-initiation-execution/control-closeout) of projects and assumes full responsibility for achieving the project goals. This includes managing activities related to project planning, scope, schedule, cost, cash flow, quality, communications, resources, procurement, profit/loss, corrective actions, and risk elements required to optimize client service, quality, and fiscal responsibility. The Senior Project Manager’s overall objective is to deliver value to our clients and to Ardurra, build and maintain a positive client relationship, and to achieve or exceed the estimated profit margin for the project.\nPrimary Duties:\n Planning and Execution\nParticipates in project costing and bid preparation to the extent required\nReview assigned project(s) after award to define project scope, determine work procedures/sequences, and develop schedules, budgets, manning tables, vendor lists, and progress billing points\nSubmits documents to Federal, state, and local authorities for code compliance review and obtains the various permits required\nManages and minimizes project risks for the interest of Ardurra\nUses Earned Value Management (EVM) to execute, manage and control projects\nEnsures Quality Control reviews are completed at proper milestones\nTracks Accounts Receivable and ensuring that invoices are paid in a timely manner\nTeam Leadership\nForms a project work team and sees that responsibilities are assigned, and execution of tasks are begun and completed according to schedule\nBuilds high-performing team and drives for results\nCommunication\nEstablishes contractor-client liaison network to keep all interested parties informed of project planning, start date, and work progress\nHolds regularly scheduled project progress review meetings to ensure that:\nA project contract’s terms, conditions, and specifications are being met\nProject personnel adhere to federal and state regulatory requirements and company policies\nDelays and cost overruns, at best, are entirely avoided, or, at worst, kept to a minimum\nManpower, equipment, materials, and quality problems are recognized for timely intervention and resolution\nOn-site supervision maintains staff morale and interacts appropriately with client counterparts\nInformation for progress billing purposes is submitted correctly and on time\nMeets with client management as necessary during a project’s terms to resolve issues and at a project’s completion to obtain final client approvals\nMaintains a continuing business relationship with major clients as part of ongoing business development efforts\nEducation and Experience Requirements:\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent\n10 + years’ experience in their area of expertise\nLicensed PE in the state of Arizona or ability to obtain upon hire\nExperience managing engineering/construction projects of relevant scope and complexity\nProven track record of successfully managing relevant projects and staff\nClient management and business development experience\nWhy Ardurra?\nWhile Ardurra offers competitive compensation and rich benefits programs, it is our culture that truly sets us apart from our peers.
