RVE and Ardurra have been a leader in this challenging market since our founding, and water and wastewater improvements form a significant portion of our project portfolio.\nOur team members are active in leading water and wastewater associations and often present on technical topics. RVE is at the forefront of water treatment and has designed and improved treatment plants for contaminants including PFNA, PFOA and PFOS, and we recently planned and designed the first plant in New Jersey to treat 1,4-Dioxane.\nPrimary Function\nThis position will plan, design and perform analysis on water/wastewater engineering projects such as water main; sanitary main; pumping stations; and water & wastewater treatment facilities. The Design Engineer shall be self-motivated, with good writing skills and capable of working in a team environment.\nThe ideal candidate will have approximately 2 to 5 years of experience in the municipal water/wastewater and/or public works field of engineering.\nPrimary Duties:\nHydraulic calculations and layout of structures.\nWork on a team to produce correspondence/reports/biddable documents for water distribution systems; wastewater conveyance system; treatment plants; potable wells; water storage tanks; and water & sanitary pumping stations.\nEngineering support to our inspection department.\nCapable of addressing multiple simultaneous assignments, on-time and within budgets.\n\"Proactive\"' identification of problems/issues coupled with detailed analysis and effective resolution.\nWork on a team to produce regulatory permitting applications. \nEducation and Experience Requirements:\nBachelor's degree or better in Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related field required.\nEIT preferred while working towards PE license (PE license highly valued).\nAbility to clarify and concisely express thoughts verbally and in written correspondence/reports/specifications.\nProvides effort and takes pride in all work assignments produced.\nNot afraid to ask for guidance/assistance in order to expedite the date of assignment deliverables.\nAbility to simultaneously work on group and individual assignments.\nMust have effective communication, management and writing skills.\nMust be skilled in the use of Word/Excel products.\nAutoCAD capability a plus.\nSalary Range: $61,000.00 To $91,500.00 Annually\nBenefits: Medical, dental, vision, 401(k), Paid Time Off\nWhy Ardurra?\nWhile Ardurra offers competitive compensation and rich benefits programs, it is our culture that truly sets us apart from our peers.
