This role will also be\nresponsible for creating new and modified components and Bill of\nMaterials (BOM) in accordance to the Oshkosh standards.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nThese duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be\nassigned.\n- Utilize GD&T practices to update current drawings per markups from\nengineering and review with high level engineers to ensure accuracy.\n- Use computer-aided drafting system to create 3D and 2D layout of\nparts, medium assemblies and sub-weldments, with limited direction\nfrom senior design team members and engineers.\n- Work cross functionally and with suppliers to obtain technical\ndata.\n- Self-check own work to ensure accuracy and organization, dimension\nand tolerance convention, and conformance with established CAD\nspecifications and standards.\n- Prepare and create medium complexity Change Notice (CN) documents\nbased on BOM and design layouts for appropriate data entry.\n- Utilize ERP system to create part numbers following proper naming\nprocess and data entry requirements.\n- Create and revise medium complexity BOM following department\nprocedures.\n- Provide technical assistance for build issue, prototype, pilot, and\nproduction support to Engineering team.\nMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:\n- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent* with two (2) years of experience in\ndesign.\n- Internal placement only, requires a panel review and approval by the\nmanager, local Vice President of Engineering, and the Chief\nTechnology Officer.\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:\n- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent* with six (6) years of experience in\ndesign.\n- Experience and/or training in GD&T.\n- Verbal and written communication skills.\n- Ability to adapt to a fast pace environment.\n- Detail oriented.\n- Capable of using standard Windows Office tools including SharePoint,\nemail, and CAD tools.\n- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.\nWORKING CONDITIONS:\n- Physical Demands: Frequent Sitting, Visual, Typing, Fine Dexterity,\nManual Dexterity, Upper Extremity Repetitive Motion;
