The team member must be\nable to develop and execute test plans as well as design and maintain\nHIL infrastructure. The team member will be an integral part of multiple\nprojects and responsible for peer reviewing others software.\nYOUR IMPACT:\n- Under supervision, perform engineering calculations, investigations,\nand tasks as assigned according to Oshkosh, as well as general\nindustry, engineering standards and processes.\n- Support more senior engineers in the preparation of plans, designs,\ncomputation methods, and/or reporting.\n- Responsible for a project or part of a project of limited\ncomplexity.\n- May be responsible for managing multiple projects.\n- Collaborate as needed with other engineering or business support\ndisciplines internally as well as suppliers externally.\n- Provide guidance or mentorship to entry level engineers, designers,\nor technicians working on a common project.\n- Ability to write and peer review high-quality, maintainable, test\nscripts.\n- Responsible for HIL platforms such as dSPACE, NI, Vector, ETAS\n- Improving HIL infrastructure so testing is repeatable, scalable, and\navailable to development teams.\n- Developing plant or subsystem simulations representing the physical\nsystem controlled by the ECU.\n- Capturing synchronized network, I/O, diagnostic, and internal\nsoftware data.\n- Integrate production or prototype ECUs/controllers into HIL test\nbenches and validate hardware/software interfaces.\n- Executing automated regression testing and support continuous\nintegration/continuous testing workflows.\n- Responsible for quality conscious design including cost and\nreliability.\n- Participate in peer reviews, estimation, and other engineering\nactivities.\n- Follow defined CMMI level 3 procedures in the writing of software.\n- Ability to travel off-site to support engineering projects.\n- Develop comprehensive test plans to verify safety and reliability of\nelectronic systems.\n- Conduct testing across multiple platforms, in both simulation and\nreal-world use cases.\n- Maintain effective communication with suppliers, internal and\nexternal customers, and outside resources concerning technical\nsubject matter.\n- Process engineering information through CMMI level 3 procedures and\nsoftware safety process.\n- Ensure that technical issues are conducted within the framework of\ncompany policies and procedures.\n- Evaluate designs for performance, safety, and reliability.\n- Establishes priorities for work delegated to others.\n- Prepare technical proposals, quotations, reports, and presentations.\n- Other duties as assigned.\n- Regular attendance is required.\nMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:\n- Accredited Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field with\nthree (3) or more years of related experience.\n- Hands-on approach to troubleshooting hardware and software issues.\n- Experience with automotive, commercial vehicle, off-highway,\nindustrial, or similar embedded communication protocols such as CAN\nand J1939.\n- Knowledge of functional safety, cybersecurity, or safety-critical\nembedded development practices.\n- Experience testing complex vehicle, mobile equipment,\nelectrification, powertrain, hydraulic, or distributed control\nsystems.\nSTANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS:\n- Accredited Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer or\nElectrical Engineering.\n- Familiarity with HIL platforms such as dSPACE, NI, Vector,
