You will work closely with\nboth on-site and remote users to ensure optimal performance of AV\nequipment, coordinate upgrades, and provide expert support for a wide\nrange of audio-visual technologies.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDesign and implement AV systems including video conferencing, digital\nsignage, and presentation systems\nInstall, configure, and maintain AV equipment such as projectors,\ndisplays, sound systems, and control systems\nTroubleshoot and resolve complex AV issues in a timely manner\nManage AV network infrastructure and ensure integration with existing\nIT systems\nPlan and execute AV system upgrades and migrations\nProvide training to end-users on AV equipment operation and best\npractices\nDevelop and maintain documentation for AV system configurations and\nprocesses\nCollaborate with IT teams to ensure AV systems align with overall\ntechnology strategy\nManage inventory of AV equipment and coordinate with vendors for\nprocurement and maintenance\nEnsure AV systems comply with security protocols and accessibility\nstandards\nStay current with emerging AV technologies and recommend improvements\nto existing systems\nWHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:\nRequirements:\nBachelor's degree in Audio Visual Technology, Electrical Engineering,\nor related field, or equivalent experience\n5+ years of experience in AV systems design, installation, and\nmaintenance\nStrong knowledge of AV technologies including video conferencing,\ndigital signal processing, and control systems\nExperience with AV network protocols and IP-based AV systems\nProficiency in AV system design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Visio)\nExcellent troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve complex AV\nissues\nSecurity+ certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire\nTS/SCI Clearance required and eligibility to obtain CI Poly\nAbility to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced\nenvironment\nWillingness to provide occasional after-hours support for critical AV\nsystems\nPhysical Requirements:\nAbility to lift and move equipment up to 50 pounds\nComfort with working at heights (e.g., on ladders or lifts) for\nequipment installation\nDesired Skills:\nCTS (Certified Technology Specialist) certification\nExperience with Crestron, Extron, or AMX control systems\nKnowledge of acoustics and audio system design\nFamiliarity with HDCP, EDID, and other video standards\nExperience with digital signal processors (DSPs) and audio networking\nprotocols\nUnderstanding of AV over IP technologies\nFamiliarity
