This position is designed for a versatile developer who can work across application code, databases, APIs, cloud environments, testing, deployment, troubleshooting, and production support.\nThe developer will work closely with the Senior ColdFusion/AWS Developer and Senior Oracle/SQL/Data Integration Developer, providing both development capacity and technical redundancy. The position will assist with application enhancements, defect resolution, SQL/database development, system integrations, testing, deployments, documentation, helpdesk escalation, and future NISC V development.\nThis position is particularly important to the team's continuity model: the developer will gain working knowledge across multiple NIMS/CMIS technical domains so that the team maintains secondary coverage for critical application and database functions.\nKey Responsibilities\nDevelop, test, troubleshoot, and maintain enterprise web applications. \nSupport ColdFusion application development and maintenance. \nDevelop and troubleshoot SQL queries and database-driven functionality. \nSupport Oracle database and data-integration activities. \nDevelop and maintain APIs and system interfaces. \nAssist with AWS-hosted application environments. \nTroubleshoot application, database, integration, and production issues. \nPerform bug fixes and implement application enhancements. \nConduct unit, integration, regression, and system testing. \nAssist with user-acceptance testing and defect resolution. \nSupport source control, builds, deployments, releases, and CI/CD activities. \nSupport DevSecOps and vulnerability-remediation activities. \nProvide Tier 1/Tier 2 technical support and resolve escalated helpdesk issues. \nSupport user account and application-access issues. \nAssist with financial-data validation and troubleshooting. \nDevelop technical documentation, operating procedures, test documentation, and knowledge articles. \nParticipate in code reviews and peer testing. \nCross-train on both application and database functions to provide backup coverage. \nParticipate in Transition-In knowledge transfer and operational-readiness activities. \nSupport future NISC V design, development, testing, integration, and deployment activities. \nThe FAA specifically requires first- and second-level helpdesk support covering user activation/deactivation, production issues and financial-data validation, in addition to application O&M responsibilities.\nRequirements\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline, or equivalent relevant professional experience. \n3+ years of professional software-development experience. \nExperience developing enterprise web applications. \nExperience with server-side/backend application development. \nWorking knowledge of ColdFusion or demonstrated experience with comparable application-development technologies and ability to learn ColdFusion. \nStrong SQL skills. \nExperience with Oracle or another enterprise relational database. \nExperience developing or consuming APIs. \nExperience with AWS or comparable cloud environments. \nExperience with Git or comparable source-control systems. \nUnderstanding of CI/CD and modern deployment practices. \nExperience with software testing and defect resolution. \nExperience troubleshooting production applications. \nAbility to work across multiple technologies rather than within a single narrow technical specialty. \nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills. \nPreferred Qualifications\nAdobe ColdFusion experience. \nOracle 19c experience. \nAWS experience or certification. \nFederal Government application-development experience. \nExperience with financial or contract-management systems. \nExperience supporting DevSecOps, cybersecurity remediation, or ATO activities. \nExperience supporting production helpdesk/service-desk
