solutions.\nThe Junior Developer will participate in software development activities throughout the application lifecycle, including requirements analysis, development, testing, deployment, documentation, and production support.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nDevelop and maintain ServiceNow applications, workflows, forms, and automation solutions.\nParticipate in Agile sprint activities and support user story implementation.\nAssist with application configuration, customization, and testing.\nDevelop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations.\nSupport defect identification, troubleshooting, and resolution activities.\nAssist with platform upgrades and application deployments.\nCreate technical documentation, user guides, and knowledge articles.\nSupport data imports, integrations, and system configuration activities.\nParticipate in unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing support.\nAssist with monitoring application performance and system health.\nSupport security compliance activities and remediation efforts.\nCollaborate with business analysts, developers, testers, and stakeholders to deliver quality solutions.\nParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives and process modernization efforts.\nRequirements\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.\n1-3 years of software development experience.\n1+ year of ServiceNow development, administration, or platform support experience.\nBasic knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and web application development.\nUnderstanding of Agile software development methodologies.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nStrong communication and teamwork skills.\nAbility to learn new technologies and work in a fast-paced environment.\nPreferred ServiceNow Certifications\nCertified System Administrator (CSA)\nCertified Application Developer (CAD)\nServiceNow Micro-Certifications\nServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (desired but not required)\nPreferred Experience\nExperience with ServiceNow application development or administration.\nExperience supporting SaaS platforms.\nExperience with Agile development teams.\nExperience with testing and quality assurance processes.\nExperience supporting federal government programs.\nFamiliarity with DevSecOps concepts and CI/CD pipelines.\nExposure to financial management, reporting, grants, or business process automation systems.\nSecurity Clearance Requirements\nAbility to obtain and maintain a Public Trust background investigation (HHS Position Sensitivity Level 5/Moderate Risk).\nU.S. Citizenship required.\nWork Location\nRemote with occasional travel to HHS facilities in Washington, DC, as required.\nHybrid support model supporting government, contractor, and remote
